He also did not tell me that they only take cash or checks. I did specifically ask if they take debit cards and he said yes, but they do not take debit or credit cards. 2 stars is because if the original diagnosis was right, I would not have had the supply line replaced. Also, if I knew they did not take credit or debit cards I would have bought the parts myself and had the work done later. Communication and diagnosis could have been better.

It was done with great care, 5 weeks of uninterrupted work, with diligence and good spirits. Jeff and his crew showed up on time every day, worked hard, and left the work site in good condition at the end of the day. Every detail on the house was expertly addressed including not just paint but also carpentry, masonry, trim, and screen repairs. The cost of the job was that as originally proposed and never was additional payment requested. The team was very pleasant and seemed to enjoy their work. Jeff was careful to keep us updated daily on work progress and any issues that came up during the course of the project. Any problems were quickly addressed with a good solution. We feel like the Newlin Company worked on our house as though it was their own and we are so happy with the finished product.

The reason we hired professionals is to smooth down the walls before painting. Even the owner admitted their painters didn't meet their expectations. The owner said his cost is comparable to the surrounding areas. That's fine BUT the contracted painters they hired are warm bodies, not professional painters. The painters rushed the job so they can get paid and move on. The owner said he has to pay insurance in case the painters fall. Mental note: cut out the middle person and hire an experienced painter who owns his company to come out and paint with his crew. Also can inspect and supervise/guide his painters throughout the job. I was told I'd receive white-glove service but they dumped a bucket of water with paint debris on my patio. I'm still trying to take the paint stains off my patio, paint drippings on the floor edges/floors and paint rollers in the paint jars were left for me to clean. Their old Ashburn site on yelp states permanently closed but the old reviews are familiar to my experience. If they closed and reopened- the poor quality has not changed.

Cristian refused to place a business outside the home, because it speaks for itself.

I had used other cleaning companies in the past, and the house actually sparkled when I walked through to do my inspection. I must say that I was sorely disappointed by Johanna's Cleaning Service. Not only the house did not sparkle, I spot checked a few cabinets and they were not cleaned. Top of services were not cleaned. Pencil and dirt marks were not wiped off. Cleaning companies have proper chemical to remove these, but with as much dirt, residue, marks, I must conclude that they did not clean my house. In the past, another company had removed paint stuck to hardwood floor and left the surface sparkled. If they were able to do that, and Johanna's couldn't wipe off pencil marks, I will leave it up to you to conclude their competency and work ethics.
