The massage chairs were too complicated for me and the nail tech began getting visibly mad because I was not perfectly still. He grabbed my ankle firmly to position my foot. He left timers beeping and rushed through the entire process. The lady who did my manicure rushed and kept hitting my skin with the grinding tool. The paint just seems sloppy and not smooth. When I payed, they charged me $120 the first time. I tipped 20% and then the man still working on my daughter's nails told me i still owed him $45. I paid the $45. The menu seems pretty straight forward but I do not understand how they totaled up the price. Do yourself a favor and just don't get your nails done in Bardstown. I debated going to the new salon behind Kroger (again) but thought I'd give this a chance. I will drive an extra 30 min. from now on.

It makes me sad because I had been going to this place for years with my mom before she passed, and I continued to go for years even after I noticed they declined in quality. The last time I was there one of the staff was rough with my feet. He cut skin on the toe that now has the fungus, and became irritated if I moved my foot. Having a toenail removed is painful, and now I'm having to deal with pain, Epsom salt soaks, and the unpleasant effects anti-fungal medication. And it's such a bummer to have to cover my feet in the summer. I will obviously never be coming back here. Not sure why such a nice place turned into what it is now.

I received one of those spa boxes a while back and it was wonderful and smell, glorious..... but not today. When they were done, I was like that's it? I even looked back at the paper that described the deluxe and it just fell flat. an extra $20 for hot towels is the only thing I saw..... I'm just disappointed in general that you can't get good service anymore. And they did not seem to care that I kept saying it wasn't worth the price and it didn't seem like a deluxe. I was charged three dollars for using my debit card ..... Won't return, but still feel cheated . I don't write reviews very often, and this isn't mean it's just honest .... I told Jessica how wanted my hair cut and was very specific about what I did not want. She agreed and said she would never put a lot of layers in my hair but that's exactly what she did. I looked like Pat Benetar from the 80s. I politely told Jessica I was not happy with my hair. She asked me to come back another day to look at my hair, but she immediately became argumentative with me. I asked to speak to the owner, Brandi. Brandi apologized and agreed to re-cut my hair. I offered to pay her or at least leave a tip. She said it was not necessary. Brandi was very friendly, gave me several of her business cards and asked me to come back. So, when I needed another haircut, I called for an appointment with Brandi. However, Brandi refused to cut my hair and refused to come to the phone to discuss why. So why did she hand me her business cards and ask me to come back? Brandi is so fake, and she's not a good business owner when she hides behind her employees and won't face customers directly. I have been getting my hair cut at Alpha Salon for the past few years and I have never been…read moredisappointed. The ladies and Jeremy are all extremely nice and seem to really build strong rapport with their customers, especially their returning customers. Jeremy has been cutting my hair now for a while and he does an awesome job, every once and a while he will offer up a new product they have but he isn't pushy about it like other places I have been to. The ones he has offered and that I decided to buy I have always been satisfied with. The shop is clean and the prices are very reasonable. I can't speak to the other services they offer (I'm a guy who doesn't do the manicure,pedicure, day at the spa thing) but my wife gets her hair done here as well as her nails on occasion and it always looks really good when she returns. I honestly can't think of any critiques to this place.
