    I got action
    Armistead J.

I went to see the movie predator badlands here. The theater was very clean and comfortable. The security guards were present and friendly. There was only kiosk to buy your movie tickets. The seats did not recline in the theater I was in but there was cup holders. The theater smelled extremely pleasant. The bathroom was spacious and clean as well. Honestly the inside of the theater looks better than the outside. I could definitely see another movie here at this theater.

I'm not too sure as to why this place has a less than 3 star rating. Although it isn't the best ever, it does the job well, and never had a bad experience with the service from staff

Hell this is one of my favorite movie theatres in Silver Spring, Maryland . This is The Regal Majestic Theatres . I font like the Credit card kiosks they dont work well like the ones in the Rockville location . I think its a waste of time without human interaction with communities that come there bt it shows great movies sometimes I like here . It has a lower lobby and it has a straight up.escalators that are tall geting to the next level area . Upstairs it has concession stands that hsve better human interactions but te team i saw was down to a skeleton crew and it looks like business is slow there . It has hallways to all the different movie area of your choice and clean bathrooms. Hospitality is good but could be better in ways to boost business . But its one of my favorite places . I used to come as a teen to young adult . Its been a long time since the pandemic. We weete all at fault for the wrongful and unjustifiable behaviors till trust can be rebuilt again . I wish they make job applications easier instead of difficult . They made it harder than it has to be . I tried and it kicked me out . But I loved watching the Epic Elvis movie . I enjoyd it . Ihope to go back there someday .

Thank you yelp for this screening! Regal Majestic is a slightly old theater but this screening was at the imax screen. I have watched the series and I'm excited for this one!

    Small popcorn (overloaded!)

This Regal is clean, has a huge selection of movies, and is right around the corner from another theater that plays art films. (That's the AFI Silver.) Staff are friendly and helpful, and at my last visit, I got a set of glasses to show me closed captioning. I used accumulated points to pay for the small popcorn in the picture. It was overloaded, Jenga-style, which was fun to try to eat without spilling. If I could ask for any changes, I would request a separate ticket-selling counter so if someone is not getting concessions, they can buy a ticket more quickly. I didn't look to see whether I could use a kiosk, but signs didn't route me to that. Anyhow, I'm sure that I'll be back soon!

Thanks to Yelp, I was able to score two free advanced screening tickets to see "Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire." After a long day at work, we ventured from Baltimore to Silver Spring. The overall drive wasn't bad, parking was accessible, and the theater was easy to find. Theater was clean and exxxxxxtra roomy. Regal Majestic is truly massive. MASSIVE. Concession line could use some work, especially the staff. Each staff member seemed to hate their job. No one responded to our mannerisms. No "hi," "thank you," or "have a good one." Ordered a large popcorn (because movie popcorn is the BEST popcorn) in which I had to pull out hair strands twice from my mouth--disgusting. Movie setup was nice. Extra space, comfy seating, and a good crowd. Could have done without the babies and children 4 and under--maybe have a family kid-friendly advanced screening? A separate event would have been appreciated. But free is free, I get it.

The fam and I went to the Regal in silver springs to see little mermaid. Yes we are all adults but yes we enjoyed it lol. This was my first time at the regal and I must say I enjoyed myself. It is in downtown silver spring which is a whole vibe in itself. The regal is a large two story building with several theaters. I don't remember how many. The seating is stadium tiered style. The area was clean. Looks like the crew does a decent job cleaning up between audiences and the chairs were comfy. The only con was they didn't recline at least it didn't for me. Perhaps it was user error. Good experience. I'll be back.

No frills! It's just your basic neighborhood movie theater. It's never packed in here. Concession stand staff give you the bare minimum customer service. Bathrooms are typically dirty, but the theater itself is usually clean and the recliner seats are comfortable.

This theatre has plenty of both standard and IMAX screens. The stadium seating is good and the theatre itself seemed cleaned. It's not the easiest theatre to access due to its location and parking is a bit of an expense. Concessions were fine and crowds were minimal.

Continuing my alphabet series…read moreonto the letter I representing prior to 2018 is I is for iPic theater and also the 2014 movie, Interstellar! I've been here twice in November 2014 & November 2023. Funny both times were in the month of November, but 9 years apart. November 2014: I was living in northern VA, and I received free tickets to see Interstellar as this theater had recently opened. My impression in 2014 and still holds true today is that this is the nicest theater I had ever been to. Some theaters have reclining seats, but these are large and you get a blanket if you want. There were some good food options, granted overpriced for what you got, were tasty. I brought a date for those movie showing and paid for our food. I got a burger, and she got a flatbread pizza. Burger was good as I recall. 2017 to coming back here in November 2023: I moved to Maryland in 2017, Wheaton 2017-2020, so wasn't too far from Pike & Rose and did go there sometimes. However, in 2018 I became an AMC A-Lister, so I just go there unless there's a free advanced screening or specific movie I really want to see at Egyptian Cinemark or a Regal that isn't at AMC. In November 2023, iPic held an advanced screening of the Netflix movie, Leave the World Behind. I had 4 tickets, invited several friends. There was a woman I liked who had agreed to go initially, but had an issue with someone else who had promptly responded she would go. Incidentally, the woman who I liked became my girlfriend in February 2024, so it worked out well. Shortly after that she buried the hatchet with that mutual friend. As for the movie screening, while not as great as Interstellar, it was still the same positive experience I remembered from 9 years earlier. Things were chaotic as we were trying to get the food & drink, which was included, but we had to check on the food during the middle of the movie, and I missed the very beginning of the movie as a lot of people did. There was quite a bit of time beforehand, but even with the delays occurring, they should've started the movie late unless there was some late movie showing in that particular theater at 10 PM or something. In summary, this is a very nice theater in spite of a couple of flaws.

The proverbial "if I could give zero stars I would" holds true for this theater. I have been going…read moreto IPIC for years and it is finally on the "never again" list. It has really gone down hill. There was nothing good or redeeming about our experience. Let's start with the ludicrous check in process. You pre-purchase your tickets and they give you an Apple wallet pass. When you get off the elevator there is a clear path to the theaters with a person standing at a podium. However, don't you dare go directly to this person. You need to go check in at the ticket booth so they can give you paper tickets. Then you go back to the podium to show them the paper tickets and go to your theater. It wouldn't be that annoying if every single person didn't do this unnecessary round trip. I watched six families lug their children up and back while standing there. Put up a sign. State this absurd process in the email. Next the service. They include a required 18% gratuity on the bill. For good reason. They would have gotten none if it was discretionary. We were in our seats fifteen minutes before the movie start. Nobody took our order until fifteen minutes into the movie. Food didn't show up until two thirds of the way through the movie. Why spend several hundred dollars to take your kids to dinner and a movie if you don't get dinner and a movie. The people two seats over never got their food. The check never came. I had to ask for the check after the lights were on and credits over. Super annoying when sitting there with three kids under 7. Now the food, barely edible is being generous. It tasted like every item had been submerged in a bucket of grease before, during, and after cooking. I now know what the penguins at an oil spill feel like. Horrible. For the price point service should be good, food decent, and experience frictionless. Ipic bethesda failed in all respects.

"It's goes way back to something roughly translated as 'The Wild Hunt.'" Nick points out, "We can't find [the killers]. We got no prints, no I.D., no record of where they came from..." "That's what I'm trying to tell you," Monroe interjects. "You don't have to find them. According to legend, the first thing you hear is terrible thunder and howling wind, as if the [ferocious wildesheer, also known as caccia morta] are being blown right out of hell." "Not so encouraging..." "They're hunters," Monroe continues, "and their life's blood is built upon killing powerful warriors; and it just so happens that the Grimm is, like, the post powerful warrior of all." "You think they know about me?" "I think it's no coincidence they're in Portland...listen, the most important thing is they will be coming after you...so what we can do is pick where [the fight] happens...and I highly suggest that's not my house." Although, lucky for us Marylanders, picking a theater for where to watch movies is not close to being a life-and-death matter, as choosing where to fight the caccia morta is for Nick and Monroe, it is still ideal to find a space that offers supremely comfortable reclining chairs with cupholders, that isn't attached to a mall or exists in the heart of a downtown metropolis, and that is less likely to have every screening jam-packed seat-to-seat with screaming kids, teenagers on their cell phones, and influencers more concerned with exuberantly filming themselves than silently watching and enjoying each film. For all of those reasons and more, my friends and I choose the AMC Center Park 8 Theatre on 4001 Powder Mill Rd in Beltsville.

Food & Drinks This is where most of my frustration comes in. On my most recent visit (Sunday, April 26) to see the Michael Jackson movie, I tried to order a milkshake only to find out the machine was broken. This is the second time recently that the milkshake machine has been down. At this point, Alamo's milkshake machine is starting to feel like McDonald's... always broken. On another visit, I attempted to order iced tea and they were out. I then asked for lemonade and they were out of that too. I ended up settling for a ginger ale, which I was charged $8.50 for. Prices here are already on the higher side, but that charge felt incorrect since most of the other soft drinks listed were closer to $6. For what you pay, you expect basic menu items to actually be available. I also wish there were more gluten-free food options, as the current selection feels limited compared to other theaters and restaurants in the area. Service Service really depends on who you get. Some servers and staff provide great customer service and are attentive, but others act like they don't want to be there, which takes away from the experience. I did speak with the manager, Peyton, who was kind and apologized multiple times. However, the interaction felt like it lacked the professionalism or experience needed to actually resolve the issue. A small gesture, like comping an item or offering a return ticket, would have gone a long way, especially given that these weren't first-time issues. Ambiance & Logistics The theater itself is nice and generally clean, which I appreciate. The recliner seats are comfortable and, importantly, they always work, which is a big plus. There's also plenty of parking in the lot to the right of the theater, and parking can be validated for the garage, making visits pretty convenient. Overall I really want this location to be better because it's so close to home and has the potential to be a great neighborhood theater. But repeated issues with menu availability, inconsistent service, and pricing concerns make it hard to fully enjoy the experience. Hoping to see improvements, because convenience alone isn't enough to keep customers coming back.
