So I dealt mainly with the owner Andre who had recently taken the business over from his father. I could tell by his knowledge and how he answered my questions that he's been at it a long time and that made me feel incredibly comfortable. One thing that I want to point out was how incredibly difficult I made this deal on Andre due to the time restrictions I had put on him. I basically had no wiggle room whatsoever in a time when COVID has made shipping completely unpredictable. But unfortunately for him this was the last piece of the puzzle in a long drawn out project that I started and my family just needed it done in order to move on with our lives. The pressure I put on this man was easily enough for most to give up. But instead Andre absolutely bent over backwards to help us out. Even in saying that I think it's an understatement. On the day of install he actually shows up with carpet and helped the installers for hours just to get the project done. I honestly couldn't appreciate his service anymore. His father should be incredibly proud he has left his business in great hands. The carpet,pad and install are all top notch. His staff are long-time employees - no sub-contracted workers. They were skilled and meticulous, taking their time to achieve a beautiful result. This was a substantial job, replacing the carpet in 5+ rooms. John Paul was involved at every step and followed up to be sure that I was satisfied. Our experience far exceeded our expectations-we walked out with all of our tile selected and ordered along with the necessary supplies. We got quotes from a few places, but Michael was the only person who offered an in-home estimate. He answered all our questions, told us exactly what to expect, gave us an estimate on the spot, and was able to schedule us on relatively short notice. Communication was great. Michael & co were clear about how long the work would take, showed up when they said they would, and sent us pictures after staining and after the first coat of polyurethane. Their attention to detail really shows, and they did a great job wrapping appliances and smoke detectors too and generally cleaning up after themselves. He assessed the damage areas and within three hours I had a quote for two different options. No need to feel like I needed to negotiate as his pricing was excellent.
