They don't have the greatest selection of food and drinks un the store but the staff is always very nice. Cleanliness leaves a little to be desired but it's def not the type of gas station you'd drive past waiting for the next one that doesn't make you feel like you're gonna get mugged. Bathrooms, clean, no glory holes...which could be a negative or a positive depending on who is reading this review. Basically, it isn't a gas station worth making a special trip to...but if you need gas and/or some scratchers, there really is no reason not to stop there

I am not going to go into the saga of driving around from one tire store to another to find the tires and service I needed and will skip to the interesting part. I walked into Hughes Brothers and was greeted not only by the guy behind the cash register but all of the Hughes Brothers employed within the sound of my voice. They scored point just for doing that. I explained what I was looking for and the CSR, we will call him Joe, began the search and we were able to agree on a set of tires that he could have in the store within a matter of hours. I was advised that I could wait in the store or, he could take my number and call me when the tires arrived. I departed. I received a call from Joe at an hour later than we had agreed and he began to explain that things had gotten wild and crazy and apologized for not following up within the agreed timeframe. More points for them. We agreed that I would come in the next morning by a specified hour and when I had not arrived in time for my scheduled appointment, I received another call to determine if I had changed my mind or if we needed to reschedule to come in for the service. I explained this time that things had gotten out of hand and that I was on my way in for the service. I arrived, Joe pointed out my tires that were waiting for me, took the keys the car and within 90 minutes, the tires had been mounted on a different set of rims, the TPMS sensors had been moved to the new rims, tires balanced, mounted and I am heading out the door. When I went in, Tracey gave me printed quotes on 4 different tires. Obviously, they had the lowest price. The customer service was outstanding and they have a very nice waiting room, free coffee and popcorn and you can practice your putting while you are there. They did not try to sell me products I did not need. One of the best customer experiences I have ever had. If you need tires, this is the place to go.

Don't trust these people. Recently we brought our car here for emissions testing and a safety…read moreinspection. We were told our car failed the inspection due to tires and steering mechanism. Besides new tires they said we needed ball joints, struts, tie rods, sway bar links, bushings, trailing arms. We left without doing the work since our car ran fine. We brought it to another garage for tires which we did need and asked for them to inspect steering. They did not see anything wrong with any of the other recommended repairs and said we were scammed. Just to be sure we brought the car to our local Chevy dealer and gave them the list from Duke's. We were told that there's absolutely nothing wrong with our car! Beware if they fail your safety inspection and want to do repairs.

They are customer focused in a genuine manner - not fixed on selling services or products that are not necessary. There's nothing like walking into the office and being remembered after only a couple of visits. They even drove me home...I'm close to Browning, but it's still a lovely gesture. I recommend this business to anyone with a mechanical problem, tires going bad, 'funny sounds' (yeah, that's my specialty), or even just the annual inspection. Your not going to believe this one…read more 4th of July downtown, walking around eating and drinking new places, exploring our new city and having a great time and decided to head home. It is an end spot up near the street by the Spice/Tea Place, I started to pullout and thought I was by the nose of the curb and when my back tire tracked in, I caugght the curb just right 3 blocks later....I am changing my tire. I get the donut put on and of course nothing is open and I am supposed to be headed to Charlotte at 5 am, not happening. So I pull out my old trusty YELP app and look for tire places, BLACKS is all over town but, one place caught my eye. "Aspen Tire" 5 stars (Shut the front Door, No one gets 5 stars out side of restaurants) with 25+ Reviews, what have I got to lose. I get there at 10 till 8am and the bays are already hopping with the Tech's and management in the lobby, so I tried the door, crap still not open (8am on the Dot), so now I am going to be here till at least 10am and way behind on my scheduled trip to Clt. So go up to Trey at the counter and he is lackluster as you would expect for 8am lol, but he lets me know that he has some appointments ahead of me and he will get to it when he can. So I decided to go across the street to get something to eat, a coffee and hang out for about 15mins, come back across and have a seat for a long wait for my car. The it hits me, I have entered bizarro world, it is 8:28 am and Trey calls me and says my car is ready??!!!! I Look towards the front door and it is sitting right there. This is the way business should be done, set the expectation low and when you get it in advance of the expectation, you finish sooner and you look like a hero, and ASPEN is My Hero!
