So bring cash if you want anything from the bar under $10.

Love the Lincoln Children's Zoo! I've been visiting regularly since I moved to Nebraska 10 years…read moreago, and it's been so fun to see all the positive changes and improvements over the years. Now having a toddler, this zoo is truly perfect for little ones. Easy to walk, the right size, and packed with activities they can actually enjoy. We stopped by for a couple of hours on Sunday to soak in the beautiful mid-November weather. It wasn't busy, which was great, and we got to see all the animals we were hoping to. The giraffe exhibit is one of my favorites! The staff is always so kind and the grounds are incredibly clean. They already have the Christmas lights up, and wow I was so impressed by how many there were! I'll definitely be coming back at night to see everything lit up during the Zoo Lights experience.

We really enjoyed the red pandas and it was amazing (and a little weird tbh) to be so close to the giraffes at eye level. You can buy a bunch of salad greens to feed the giraffes, but even if you don't it is still a great up close exhibit. The rooms are quite nice especially the suite type ones or longer stays with the mini kitchen and island. It feels like a home or apartment. The breakfast was so good! Like one day sausage bacon the next or omelettes then next day was scrambled eggs and a bunch of mix ins. I just really enjoyed my stay here and definitely would recommend it to others as well!

Then when asked about military rates which I know you guys have she acted like I was speaking a foreign language. Then showed her my Active Duty ID she gave me 5 dollars off which normally the discount is way more so little confused about that. Then I asked if she could look up my IHG points she was short and said "that's only 5 off too". Which I doubt she even looked up my account because she didn't even type anything in between me asking and her saying that. The hot tub was out of service which happens. The room it's self wasn't terrible except the fact that their was missing tile in the bathroom and bubbled paint and it didn't look like the bathroom door had been wiped down in weeks. The bed made horrendous noises anytime you tried to get comfy. Sofa was disgusting. Oh and the giant crack in the wall letting cold air in. (Room 412) The only good thing about this place was the lovely breakfast woman Sharron and the food. The morning check out woman was way better and saw that the evening one in fact didn't add the military discount to the bill so she did.
