Four companies popped up and, of those, only one didn't list a few complaints and lawsuits. We weren't looking for drama or headaches and called Crystal. A sales rep Jimmy came out within days and, after several hours of conversation and measurements, we got a design and quote that we agreed upon. He warned us that, with the economy and supply chain issues, it could take a year to complete. They broke ground the following week and made good time through the summer and fall. Miraculously, they completed the project six months EARLY; and on rare occasions when I expressed a concern, someone called within a few minutes or the next day - and if we needed action on something, they made that a priority. At one point, the owner interceded and gave me his cell number so that he could respond. The bottom line - we're extremely happy with our new solar heated saltwater pool, lanai, cement deck, new irrigation and landscaping. I don't know how another company would've performed but, when I mention Crystal, our friends and neighbors nod knowingly. For my wife and I, their excellent reputation is well deserved. I have contacted Matt, the owner, on several occasions in an attempt to get this issue resolved. Unfortunately, he is unwilling to do anything about my cracking pool. His response is either "I don't do repairs" or "Your warranty is expired". One would expect a concrete pool to last more than five years. One would also expect that the pool builder would stand behind his work and protect his reputation even if there is a cost to the homeowner. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy!

When my pool was built, I complained to the pool builder (A&G Concrete Pools) that my "flow" out of the spa was wimpy, they sent "expert" after "expert" to correct the problem. They would shake their heads and say "Nope, that's about all the flow we can get." Then Bill came over to do another job for me. I described my problem. He said "Let me take a look at that." In ten minutes, he had the pool flow doubled. I asked him how he was able to fix the problem. "Nothing complicated," he said; "apparently, no one ever bothered to set up your pool correctly." So, yeah, Bill is "The Pool Whisperer." And, no, I'm not related.
