I really enjoyed the insight and long-winded (LOL) talk that staff member Irene shared with us while we were shopping and then waiting out the rain for a bit on June 8, 2024. She was a sweet lady! I needed some touristy items: + Paradise swimsuit coverup/dress = $30 + Lauderdale-By-the-Sea shot glass = $3.99 + Fort Lauderdale Beach magnet = $5.99 + key chains my girls picked out = $3.99 - $4.99 I would go here in a heart to see Irene again. I came here to a touristy section of town as I needed a few "tourist" items as a gag gift. Plus, I needed to get some Fort Lauderdale postcards. I'm corresponding with a great niece who just started an internship in Minnesota -- of all places -- so I thought I'd send some beachy photos. I didn't find the gifts as prices here were astronomical. But I did find my postcards -- and they were very reasonably priced. And if you need one of these, it's a perfect spot. There were a number of visitors shopping while we were there. One guy had previously bought a Hawaiian shirt here and was back again to buy another one (at almost $50!!). The shop is located right on the main street a short walk from the beach. It's a place you have to at least browse into if you're visiting the area. And who knows, you might find something perfect to splurge on -- like an extra bathing suit or sun dress. However, if you have a car and feel like venturing out into the city go a few blocks west of the intracoastal (or north/south on Federal Highway) and you'll hit a bunch of stores with much lower prices. read more

Do not patronize this store. I don't know if she was the owner or an employee, blonde haired older woman with an accent, possibly Ukraine, was the most ignorant person to deal with. We close soon, is the first comment when I walk through the door... Walked in to buy a small gift for a colleague at the office... Well, we got a few minutes... Really, you're buying something pink for a man... Where are you from....?! Originally from Sweden, but I live here since many years... Why?! Oh, if you live here, maybe you're normal... What do you mean...?! Well, in Sweden there are many transgender people... I'm not transgender, and what's your problem... Then I tried to stop my wife from buying anything in this store, and I asked... so where are you from and what's your problem?! We were sitting outside this T-Shirt shop watched a Mom and young boy (less than 2) go in. The boy was being like a little boy and touching stuff they had on the floor. His Mom closely watched him and didn't let him get out of control and carefully put everything back in place. The sales women complained to her warning her not to let her child break anything. The sales woman said kids were not welcome, but there was no sign indicating this. Thought this was so undeserved-the kid was well behaved. After the sales woman chased them away we watched them look at an older couple as they shopped like they were there to steal something. Very very very very very terrible customer service. UNWELCOMING. UNPLEASANT. RUDE. There were two sales women that were acting as if we were damaging her store only by looking around. Barely touched anything and they acted as if i were going to steal or break something. It's extremely overpriced which i would usually pay for on a vacation but their customer service is actually booty cheeks i couldnt let myself or my friends spend their money there. I was in the area on vacation from NY and realized that my bathing suits were stretched out and needed to be replaced for me to fully enjoy my vacation. I walked in here just to browse for souvenirs, and saw that there were many bathing suits not in a size 2 displayed, which usually makes me ignore them completely. I needed a bra cup sized suit so started looking at the tags seriously. A blonde woman came over and complimented my good taste. I saw a 50% off rack, and instead of pushing the more expensive ones I had been looking at, she commented on the great 50% off sale and asked if she could help me find what I was looking for. I regretfully said that the 50% off suits weren't in my size, and she offered to help me find some that were and to cut me a deal on them. I tried on a few and settled on a top that I would have purchased even if it weren't an emergency. She checked to see if there was a matching bottom, but there wasn't, and I had a versatile black bottom with me already. She then found a matching coverup that I usually wouldn't have purchased (it was $98, just like the top) but I was drawn to the matching set. I told her that it was too expensive for my budget, and a dark haired woman took off 30% on the spot, no negotiating required. Warning.!!!!!!!!! this store is so horrible I actually decided to start a Yelp account just because of their horrible experience This is my second year visiting for vacation from Maryland. First I walked in the store and no one approached me to even asked if I needed help. Next approach one sales clerk I couldn't tell if it was a male or female the way to identify these individuals they had multiple Parts cut in their hair style of the side they were on their phone and when I asked them if there was a dressing room to try on a pair of slacks their response back to me was very nasty like duh yeah there's one in the back anyway I just chalked that up to them having a bad day. Next I go to the back to the dressing room in the doors are locked the oldest woman that the other Yelp review was mentioning was really nasty and kept saying go to the door on the right I couldn't tell which door there was three of them so she repeats it really nasty like hurry up I'm slowing her down so I turn to her and say calm down she turns to me and says no you calm down hand over the pants and said this is poor customer service and as I was walking out she's hollering behind me that she can sell these pants to another customer in 30 seconds I think not since they were really overpriced once again if you want to get treated like crap and pay for it then this is your place to go shopping if not I would recommend going to the store next door they're on the corner they are a whole lot nicer and some more pleasant experience I was so confused by the way that they treated me as a customer without any type of nastiness. I had seen this store several times on this main street since I live around the corner from this shop. I'm new to the area so when my friend from Ohio came to visit I suggested to go there to check it out. This shop looked to be decent but as we got closer we can see that it was in need of repair and the sign outside was broken. Anyway we walked in to check it out and as we both entered a lady with long dark hair, on the heavy side with an accent approached us. We continued to look at the clothes there and as we got to the back of the store looking at the bathing suits this woman actually had the nerve to come up to us and tell us, 'I say hello to you but you don't say hello back'? I was shocked to see that an employee would make such a comment to a customer. Honestly my friend and I didn't hear her say anything and to accuse us of not saying hello back to her was ridiculous. Instead of walking out we stayed to continue looking at the clothes especially the beach wear. My friend asked her about the price on one of the items and she rudely snapped and said that the price was on the price tags. We didn't see 'price tags' and with an attitude looked at the cover up in question and then said a price. The point is, this sales woman was rude the moment we walked in and shouldn't be working at a place of business like this. My friend wanted a bathing suite but instead left and bought one next door from them on the corner. They were polite there and I will never go back to this Reflections store if that horrid woman is still working there. What a disappointment. read more
