I had expected a somewhat low-budget establishment because of the very reasonable prices, but it's situated in a nice neighborhood and everything from the waiting area to the massage rooms were very very nice. When Josh came to greet me, I was already comforted by his soothing voice and demeanor. I knew I'd be in good hands... and I was right. Beyond the technique and training, there was just something extra about his movements. Really, some kind of magic. His strokes were graceful and artful, but he was also very precise in hitting all the right spots. Josh knows the body better than anyone I've been to (I've been getting massages monthly for the past couple years). This was the best massage I've ever had. I recommend it to everyone (just leave room for me on the schedule!). Time to loaf around the apartment. I'm too relaxed to do anything else.

Overall, she helped my neck and shoulder tremendously and I will come back for another session. For those of you who never had Thai massage, think of it as lazy Yoga where the masseuse is doing all the work. Her place is very clean and Feng Shui, it's located inside of an office and event center building that used to be a catholic school. The place is well lit with natural light and there's no distracting with noises from neighboring offices. If you're working from home like me, I highly recommend you trying Thai massage here. After the meditation, he discusses the art of meditation, itself. I love going to his meditation groups, cause his office just makes me melt. It is so charged with positive energy. His techniques in actually working out your knots and tight muscles are unmatched. If you are looking to feel relief after a massage, you need to go see Tom. I was feeling adventurous and tried his "cupping" technique (google it to find out more) and although it was fast at getting the knots out of my back, I probably wouldn't do it again. While I was training for my half-marathon, Tom helped me through the whole process - giving me exercises and stretches to do while I was training. Betty is a wise therapist and kind soul who not only helps me feel better but also teaches me how to heal myself. After I took a recent fall that badly pulled my hamstring, Betty put Kinesio tape on my leg in a manner that I believe speeded my healing two-fold. She also advised me of what to do and not to do to advance the healing. Three-weeks later I'm almost as good as new when some I know have taken up to six months to heal from a similar pull.
