There's so much coffee now in Greenhills! This marks the third third wave (lol) option in the Promenade/Missouri area. The place opens up pretty early and is open until midnight weeknights. As a med student in the city, I'm always looking for new places to study and grind out. I don't recommend studying here late at night. They do dim the lights and it's really hard to read anything. The staff is friendly though.
During the day though, I think it's a great place to get work done. When I came in during the mid-afternoon hours, nearly everyone had a laptop out. So that's something to consider. The clientele definitely changes because as the day turned into the night the lights dimmed and more people came in for drinks and dinner.
The food is ok. I had this thing with poached eggs, pesto sauce, fried risotto balls and tomatoes. I think they were trying to present a deconstructed caprese salad with a risotto but the textures and how separated everything was made it kind of hard to eat. I also didn't get too much flavor from the risotto which was disappointing, especially for the 350 peso price tag.
The coffee is good though!! I had their 18 hour cold press and my friend tried their cappuccino. I really recommend their cold press. For 145 pesos it's a very hefty portion and definitely kept me wired. read more
