    Our containers we refilled!
    Anissa R.

What a cute store! Love that this is so close to my new apartment (literally walking distance). Conveniently located next to Pushkins and the Co-Op. So far, I've filled up a hand soap and lotion for my bathroom. The yuzu lotion is literally perfect because it's for hand and body; it smells divine! The soap we got is unscented and has aloe for my husband's CRUSTY hands :). Overall pleasant experience, just bring your own container and have fun!

I always enjoy exploring unique shops and boutiques. I love the concept of this place in particular because it provides and promotes products that also support our environment in a sustainable way. If only more stores could be like this: decrease throw away containers with less plastic garbage taken to land fills. The whole store carries a variety of useful, everyday supplies from laundry detergents, bath soaps, dish soaps, shampoos, lotions, useful household items, pet supplies and gifts. You can bring your own clean containers to refill or purchase what they have available. I can't say you will save money here or know what kind of ingredients each product contains, but if you are serious about saving the planet, paying a little extra to support a shop with such well intentions, should be worth the price and extra effort! Recycling has become an important part of my life, so this small business definitely deserves recognition!

I LOVE this place. This year I decided to streamline my product containers to these brown ones so I was hoping to refill them in bulk. When I found this place it was like hitting the jackpot! All the products are top notch clean ingredients, pricing is great, and they have such a wide assortment of refillable products! I keep finding something new I want to refill each time I go.

This shop is so friendly and really knowledgeable. I really wish more of these shops exist but happy to have found one we can return to! I haven't calculated if we will be saving money or breaking even here but with disgusting amount of plastic wasted, I'm very happy begin refilling. I didn't get a photo but the recycling section in this shop made me happy too. Bring your old toothbrushes and wine corks etc for proper disposal? HOORAY!

Refill Madness. Madness indeed! I am crazy for this shop. Great business! Refill, reuse, recycle. Ya! This shop is stocked with a good size variety of eco friendlier dish soap, laundry soap, household cleaners, hand soap, body lotions, and shampoo/conditioners. I'm sure I probably left something out. Anyway, the concept is to bring in your empty containers to have them refilled with the products. Or purchase a container. They carry new plastic or glass containers along with cleaned reused glass jars. They carry my favorite laundry soap ECOS in three different scents. Great! I brought in a clean previously used plastic detergent bottle for a fill. They weighed it empty. Than they weighed it with the product. The staff does the filling and will ask you how full you want the container. Easy peasy. Pricing of the products is comparable to the big red bullseye store. They take cash or card. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Love that. No awkward strangeness as you walk in. The interior and the inventory is displayed in a quant charming boutique style. Very cute.

My partner and I like exploring new refill stores in new cities and this was our first time here while passing through Sacramento! There were tons of options for refills, and the sales attendant did the full refill service for us. The options were almost overwhelming so I get why it's called refill madness now! The sales attendants didn't seem friendly at first (maybe they were just super busy) but once we started asking questions they were really nice! Otherwise, the store was super easy to find and very clean and overall a good experience!

Updating my review: This morning I visited the store to get dish soap. (Also, If you read my last review, a friend came with me last time I was here. She informed to me that she visited refill madness again and their staff was surprisingly good.) Well, this morning I can say that indeed, it seems like they changed things around for a more positive outcome. I noticed there was a new employee and she was super helpful, welcoming and overall doing a great job. Well done Refill Madness!

We are shopping for a love seat so my husband sat in all of them hoping to find one. He liked the red minimalist one the most. The only thing is it looks like it might fold out to a futon, but it doesn't and we really need one for when my mother in law comes to visit and other visitors. They have so many items that I kept pointing to and saying "We used to have one of these." The most memorial items were the Pyrex, which my parents still have and a rotary phone which my parents still have just in case the electricity goes out. They also have the push button one and my parents have one of those too. My parents request to keep their land line and just have the local plan which they use to call their friends. The new phones all use electricity. This shop also has lots of cases of jewelry and their broaches were on display on a mine mannequin. They were very sparkly, but I didn't have the time to really browse as the furniture took up most of my time.
