Theme Park hotels are not always 5-star resorts. Legoland in Denmark is the original, and the…read morehotel feels the part... original. There is nothing wrong with that, because it's just where you are going to sleep, and kill a little time. The treasure is Legoland, which is connected to the park, via a overpass/bridge, and down the street, about 10 minutes.. Lego House (aka.. the Logo Experiential Museum).
Yes, if you look at Lego House, which was built just a few years ago, then compare with the Hotel Logoland experience, it's not the same, and it's going to downgrade the experience. However, the joy of hotel is that for your kiddo (which is why I went), is that they don't care about the details that adults care about, they just love it's all Lego, and that's why it wins.
The rooms are exactly what you expect, Lego themed. They aren't large, at least the one I was in, but every detail about the room, feels like it was ripped from a Lego set, and that's perfect.
We enjoyed the breakfast option, which was included, it's not the most bar raising European buffet, but it was great for us and the Kiddos. To be fair, we stayed at a few fairly good places on our Denmark holiday, and the quality bar was probably too high, by the time we got here.
Look, what you get here is perfect for your kiddo, and if you are a kid at heart adult, you are likely to get something out of the total experience also. Is it a 5-start resort, nope, but will it make your Lego heart happy, likely yes.
