My partner was initially hesitant to even sit down and discuss it, but he came around once he understood how important it was to talk through our family's financial future before getting married. We each had our own attorney, but my experience with Tyler was exceptional. He went above and beyond, responding to sensitive questions on his own time in ways that kept our negotiations moving forward, and we walked down the aisle with a signed agreement in hand. I can't overstate the relief I felt after each meeting with Tyler. He made a process that could have been stressful feel smooth and straightforward, and he eased every concern I had along the way. I highly recommend working with Tyler on a prenuptial agreement. These are hard but essential conversations to have with your partner, and having a skilled advocate like Tyler in your corner makes all the difference. Thank you for everything, Tyler. Detailed, methodical, and zealous in his pursuit of his client's best interest…read more Chip (John) took on my case after it had already been in the system for years... long after the divorce was finalized. My ex was bringing me in on a modification trying to get a king's ransom in child support and cut back on both my time and legal rights with the kids. I had interviewed other attorneys and was told the cards were not in my favor and that regardless of how badly my ex behaved the system was going to operate in her favor because she was a non-working Mom and I was a working Dad (basically I was told to prepare for the worst). When I went over the details of my case with Chip he assured me that what I was dealing with (my ex's flagrant violations of orders and refusal to respect my role as a parent) was not OK and that he could fight to make the situation work better for me and my relationship with the kids. In brief, Chip was not only able to help me defeat my ex's attempt to undercut my ability to be a parent to my kids, he was able to help me win sole-legal and physical custody of my kids by helping the court see just how bad her behavior really was. To say that this reversal of fortune was a life-changer is an understatement. Chip found ways to get the court to see how unbalanced my ex was... she did us some favors along the way by no showing certain hearings and becoming more brazen in her willingness to violate orders... but had I been with any of the other attorneys I interviewed we wouldn't have even been in position to capitalize on her errors... they were all working to minimize how bad my losses would be rather than adopt the mindset of working toward a win for my relationship with the kids. It's a slight shift in mentality that paid major dividends as my case progressed. I found Chip easy to work with, responsive to feedback and questions, and open to modifying his approach dependent upon what I had in mind on any particular issue. His legal writing style was also a breath of fresh air after having had my legal rights trampled on for years. It cannot be overstated how nice it was to have someone in my corner who was serious about fighting for my rights... his ability to hold the line even when the case got increasingly more complicated made all the difference in the world. TLDR... highly recommended!

Every one of them tried to persuade us to file a Ch 13 because they believed our income was too high for a Ch 7. Robert was the only attorney who carefully reviewed our situation and felt we had a strong case for Ch 7. We ultimately decided to hire Robert, and it was one of the best decisions we could have made. Robert's preparation was incredibly thorough. He paid attention to every detail and followed a very structured process. At times, I honestly thought he was asking for more documentation than necessary. I didn't understand why he needed so much paperwork--until the hearing. While waiting for our case to be called, we watched several other attorneys struggle because they weren't prepared. The magistrate repeatedly reprimanded attorneys for their lack of preparation, and many cases had to be continued. When my wife's name was finally called, I was nervous that we'd run into similar problems. Instead, thanks to Robert's preparation, every document was in order and every question was answered immediately. Our hearing went smoothly without a single issue. Our case was completed efficiently and without any resistance from the court. Seeing firsthand how other cases unfolded made us appreciate Robert's attention to detail, preparation, and deep knowledge of the law even more. What kind of family law cases are mediated Any type of family law case may be mediated. If there is a disagreement over custody of minor children, parenting time with minor children, child or spousal support, or allocation of debt and distribution of property, the parties may call on a mediator to help them resolve their disputes. Mediation is available whether or not the parents of the minor child were married, and it is available to resolve disputes over grandparent visitation.
