Seems like an understaffed and under managed establishment. Came in to get a simple item. Walked by "manager" on the way in, had to walk through her cloud of cigarette smoke as well so that wasn't very inviting. Store had clutter in every isle so it took a minute to find what I needed. Would have been nice to ask someone for help but the only person to be found was running the register with a long line and no help. Meanwhile other lady is still standing outside smoking. Had to wait some time to be checked out because the self checkout wasn't working which isn't a huge deal, stuff brakes but with only one person in the building it seems the so called manager could have stepped in and helped out some but judging by the state of the store that doesn't happen often. Just all around not a great experience. Walked out the door just to go through another cloud of cigarette smoke because the lady was still more concerned with smoking rather than focusing on anything else that goes on. With 4-5 other stores in the area I will for sure go the extra mile to avoid this one in the future. Forgot the managers name on her name tag but she had purple hair so yea also super professional. NOT IMPRESSED. All the stores off 109 are pretty nice though so good job on that end. But avoid hwy 52.

No pizza rolls? No Blue Bell Banana Pudding ice cream?!…read more The store was clean and bright, sure. Some of the stock in the frozen section was low and really, not as many options. This was the first grocery store we've been to since moving here (if you don't count Walmart or Costco). We used to frequent Publix back in NC. This location definitely has a better layout. We didn't interact with any staff nor did they look at us, which was fine. We were there for ice cream and pizza rolls and were on our way. Only left with ice cream. I'm sure that my doctor is relieved by the outcome, however, my metaphorical heart says otherwise. Maybe another day? Oh well.

Trust me, walk the aisles a few times and you will see things you missed on the first pass. The bakery goods are always great. I truly miss the "not fried" pies and that were there. There was always a great variety, and next to that would be full sized pies and cakes that were equally enjoyable. I am not normally a sandwich lover, but the freshly made sandwiches are a requirement for when I fly back home. The homemade soups/chili are very, very good.
