My "go to" grocery store!!…read more Mike's Foodland is the best place to shop in Westmoreland. Great Deals every week in their flyer. The produce and meat departments are always kept well stocked and everything is super fresh. The food from the hot bar is also super yummy! I love the pot roast. Every Friday is Fish Fry Friday. They also have a large variety of Boars Head Meats in the deli and have sales on the meats every Tuesday. They make the best cakes too! Mike, the owner, is a great guy and is in the store daily working right along side his employees. I've often seen him stocking shelves, working a register or assisting customers. The store is clean and well kept, and every register is open so there are no long waits. Keep a look out for Mike's truckload meat sale. It happens twice a year and is a great time to stock up!!

What is that?!?!?!?!?…read more Being a small town, we don't have many options on where we buy groceries unless we want to travel 30 minutes out of town. This is one out of 2 grocery stores that we have. I rarely ever set foot through these doors anymore for the simple fact that I've gotten moldy items here the past 3 times I've bought anything. I only shop here if it's a MUST. And by must I mean, my kids love love love the store brand "Cheese It's" they sell here. They won't eat any other brand. Anything for the kids right? ;) LOL While we go on our cheesy cracker adventures I usually pick up a few items while I'm there just because I'd rather not drag 3 kids into ANOTHER store. You parents know the hassle. However, I avoid buying products that are packaged here such as meats and produce and definitely started examining the product and dates before I buy ANYTHING. The prices are decent but the 10% you have to figure into the price is super annoying. I just go ahead and figure 20% so I can estimate how much my total will be tax included. With all that being said, we will probably keep shopping here as long as they keep selling the crackers. If you find yourself at this small town store, please examine what you're buying!

Where's the Buffet??…read more This is inside the BP gas station in town right off of Hwy 52. Not sure why it's called Buffet Pizza. It's not a Buffet. It's order and carry out only. Everyone around here just calls it BP pizza. It is delicious! They have a great menu and yummy Hunts Brothers Pizzas. We visit here alot and are always satisfied. The gas station isn't very appealing but the Pizza is great and the employees are very friendly and like to cut up :)
