Daley Jones Tree Service is a hidden treasure in Springfield. He is one of the old school guys,…read morewho provides excellent service because he cares about his reputation. He doesn't advertise his services so much as relying on word of mouth, which isn't a problem because his clients love the work he does and are more than willing to refer him to others. I just moved to Springfield and my buddy recommended him to me as I had several huge trees that needed to be trimmed back. He came out and gave me a price. Based on a handshake he started work that day. The price was beyond reasonable, and over three days he cleaned up the yard, including removing a dilapidated shed, so well that it looked like a totally different yard. They worked from morning until night without pause, hauled the debris away and even dealt diplomatically with my difficult neighbor. I tell you this guy is amazing!

All while maintaining the upmost in safety precautions. One of the trees was absolutely huge! another was very large! Both in very tight places! They had to be removed in pieces. Myles L, forgive me…read more I'm gonna cut and paste excerpts of feedback from "Myles L"s statement because I can't say it better... Great people, great service, and great prices. Edgar and has crew are fantastic to work with and do a wonderful job at an affordable rate. I only have good things to say--if you need tree work done, do yourself a favor and contact 4 Seasons Tree Service. I needed several trees cut back in anticipation of high winds. I called 5 tree services; only two replied in 10 days' time. Edgar was the only one who was prompt for his own chosen appt. From there, things just got better. Edgar and his team were able to get to it earlier than anyone else and offered the best price. Throughout the process, they were communicative and always arrived on time. I HAVE to emphasize this: THEY WERE THE ONLY BUSINESS TO PROACTIVELY OFFER COPIES OF BOTH BUSINESS LICENCE AND LIABILITY INSURANCE INFORMATION. On top of it all, Edgar is always willing to take the time to thoughtfully answer any questions I may have for him, even when the answer doesn't lead to more work. I would add that NONE of the workers appeared to be "cash laborers". Edgar's not cutting corners to increase his profits by hiring "unskilled" day laborers. Each worker took to his task without any supervision whatsoever--a telling practice of skilled labor--when climbing and cutting trees with power equipment-chain saws, woodchipper, and cherry picker.

We saw 4 Seasons working in our neighbor's yard. They looked experienced and efficient. We had them over to look at our tree and promptly Edgar sent us his quotes two days later. Edgar communicated promptly and clearly about the quotes and how he and his crew will do to the tree. He gave us three different quotes (three choices), and we chose the one that fit us the best. They showed up to the job on time, cut down the problem-tree efficiently, and left our yard and driveway clean! It was a pleasant experience working with Edgar and his crew. We will definite recommend him to our friends and will go back to him when we need other tree services. 4-Seasons provides quality work at reasonable rate; what a gem!

Needed someone desperately to do a complete makeover in my front yard. Had a couple of estimates,…read morethen Johnathan from Enterprise came out. His estimate was more than fair, and he transformed my front yard completely. Cut down a large limb from my 75 yr old tree that was over to my roof, removed all debris from yard, put down weed barrier on my flower beds, brought in dirt to level my yard, then reseeded the yard, and secured it with straw. He placed an enormous amount of black mulch over all my existing trees and flower beds. I can honestly say, it looks so beautiful now, and my grass hasn't even started to grow yet. He took the time to hook up my hoses, and give me directions on when and how long to turn them on. He is an amazing young man who I will recommend to anyone. Took him 3 days from start to finish. But it's absolutely beautiful now. If you're looking for a Landscaper, Johnathan is the man. Fair and honest, and follows through with everything he said he'd do. If your needing walls or pavers. I saw pictures of the work he's done with that area, and they are beautiful. Highly recommend him.

Having explained the issues and concerns I had with an old but obviously dying oak tree in my front yard. We discussed the options, cost and timing. Paul, the owner, struck me as honest and well-mannered. We agreed on a price to take down the tree, and he was able to start the following morning. He did not want money in advance. He was as good as his word and set to work the following morning with two young men in his company T-shirts. They all worked very hard, and I was very impressed. It took an impressive two days from start to clean up. They left me with the firewood I requested, all neatly stacked, filled in the divots from fallen limbs, and cut the stump as close to the ground as possible. They even removed all the sawdust from the surrounding grass. The price? It was around half the highest bid I had for the job. I highly recommended them.
