I had wanted to see the slip they wanted to move me to and when I went to take my ski out they had moved it without the key. On top of that the pool club was not what I expected. My other big complaint is their hours, I would call ahead to confirm hours, especially when putting in or taking out my ski, when I was told they would be there until a certain time and then I made the trip and they had a sign up stating staff had left early. Hoping management will contact me pertaining to these issues during Summer 2024 season.

You're not allowed to bring any food or drinks in, but they now have enough food options that I think most could find something that works for them. The hot foods like burgers are pretty basic and remind me of school lunches, so they're a bit overpriced for what they are. The apple cider shakeups are the best though, and they also have great apple cider donuts and slushy. Highly recommend. Tickets are pretty expensive. If you're an adult without kids, it might be worth it to buy the full ticket pass (for apple picking and the fun farm area) once if you want to check it out, but in general I recommend buying the apple picking ticket only. You get to pick a bag of apples, take some cute pics in some of the areas set up for that purpose, and check out the pumpkins and the store, where you can buy the apple shakeup and donut. In the summer they also have flower picking events and the sunflower spectacular tickets which have also been a great time!

However, I bit the bullet and found the value($23.95 for barnyard tickets and $28.95 including apple picking) to be worthwhile as well as the selection of activities for all ages to be enjoyable. To every member of the staff that we approached, they were all very kind and informative. We got to enjoy the apple cider donuts, apple cider, pumpkin smash, and the ride to the apple orchards. We were surprised to see an event where they drop a large pumpkin high above ground, but it was very cool to watch (and wondered if this was because this was their last weekend of opening!)

The beach area is enclosed into a square, guarded by at least three lifeguards. There are plenty of parking spaces, a food concession and restrooms in the main building and plenty of restrooms and showers behind this front building. The weather cooperated and it was perfect.

The out out course is in need of a lot of work. The owner is working on the orange course which has been closed for a long time. The course we played had wooden steps that are rotted and uneven, very unsafe. The green outdoor fake grass is coming up all over and makes tripping hazards. There are only a few holes with some real character the rest are just putting into blocks or uneven surfaces. It's a short course good for younger children. Even the 8 year old was not sure about how safe the steps were. I am giving it a maybe because the gentleman was very nice and I am hoping the improvements will be worth the $20 cost for a child and adult together. There is also drywall prices, and machinery of some sort against the building. The bakls do not look like they have ever been washed, nor do the putters. Bring sanitizer. One fun part is they do give out stars for hole in ones and it gets out up on the building.

A great opportunity for kids to socialize in the COVID times - though I think the playground is technically made for kids 2 and up. I look forward to many more trips with my nieces and nephew, and love that this is part of a tucked away park. If you're familiar with the Challenger field, the playground is just beyond it. The ground feels like a padded mat so easier on the hands and knees for falls. I feel comfortable with my 2 yo running around without major scrapes. There are bathrooms nearby and a covered shelter with picnic tables. That's the only area where there's some shade unfortunately. Parking lot next to the town hall. Fun place for kids and adults!

No directions on taking them out before we went in, either. Pulled up all the equipment, found out the boards were the way they were because only 1 had a rudder- the rest were broken! Then I double checked my life jacket pocket and found a used mask. So clearly...sanitizing isn't a priority. Overall- no guidance, broken equipment, and unsanitary practices. Paid full price. I even asked the kid at the desk about the boards and he was like "yeah they break off so we ordered some more"- I was trying to explain how that would have been helpful to know because it was so challenging for the kids to maneuver. Then I realized I sounded like a Karen, said good day and I just won't be back.

Took a trip out on July 7, 2024 with Captain Kip and he coordinated a great day of fishing for us…read more You can tell Captain Kip is extremely knowledgeable and really loves what he does. His main priority is getting you hooked onto fish and making the experience as enjoyable as possible. We caught a good variety of fish on our trip including big King Salmon (biggest of the day was 18-20 lbs), Brown Trout, and a big Lake Trout (around 20 lbs or so). We were also lucky enough to catch a beautiful small Atlantic Salmon that we safely released. Highlight of the trip was the big king salmon and lake trout that that gave a good 30-45 minute fight that really tested our physical limits. There were several instances where we were doubled/tripled up, and we had a blast. Highly recommend, we will certainly be returning in the future.

Customer focused: Joe and Dianne were very accommodating to work around all of our schedules for our particular needs. They invested a lot of time with the kids, were patient, gave them great learning tasks and were very positive. Both kids loved them. Joe is an excellent instructor. Flexible: When I found out that I didn't have quite the same certification as I thought, they accommodated us with a very tight schedule graciously so I could get everything in and dive with the rest of the family on the trip. Expertise: As others have reviewed, the merchandise may be more expensive than online, but if you spend an hour with someone knowledgeable getting the right gear, should that expertise be free and the items sold at cost? If you want cheap and to figure it out yourself, go to Amazon. If you want someone who is knowledgeable and will help you find just the right thing and make sure you are prepared, support this local business. I wish I had known about it sooner!

I haven't had to leave a subpar rating in so long!…read more We came here for the trail, because the photos we found online looked beautiful. It's about 2 miles long and sounded like a perfect fit! We were sorely disappointed. At first I wasn't even sure that the trail WAS the trail. There was a sign clearly pointing it out, but the beginning was rocky, severely uneven, and overgrown. Okay! No problem. Maybe it was just a rough start? So we pushed on. But it got worse. You can tell that the land is often swampy, because they had a makeshift "boardwalk" laid out near the water. So mushy ground wasn't a problem. But the overgrowth got so bad that we opted to turn back after only about 10 minutes of walking. (See photos!) Based on our experience I would NOT recommend the trail, because it is not well maintained. But I did snap a picture of the lodge and the pavilion on the way out, and those seemed nice. So I gave it 2 stars for that!

It was about 5 miles long and had wonderful views. It has beautiful bridges and walking paths so you weren't walking in mud. Lots of nature views! Some of the trail goes behind some houses but it isn't terrible and is for a short stretch of the hike. The dogs absolutely love it. There are even sections were you can go up to the canal and the dogs can go swimming. Definitely coming back here sometime soon.
