While the team is always nice on the phone and in person, they are the worst team to reply back. They always say they are understaffed but to not receive 1 single reply in weeks?! PLEASE save your money and go somewhere else. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Ps. This review is not to bash the team at victory flats which is always wonderful. It's to bash the parent company Simpson. Maybe they need to hire extra people or do something to make it easier on their team to manage a big complex like this one.

Stillwater has been exactly that for my family for the past few years, after discovering it quite by accident. Office staff is top tier, always welcoming, inclusive and kind. Maintenance service is consistently quick to respond, accurate in repair/ problem solving, efficient and courteous. The community is sweet, outdoor shared spaces well maintained and charming, and it just feels like a secret oasis tucked away. Someday, when the housing market stabilizes, I'll look at buying, but I'm not in a rush to leave Stillwater! So grateful for it!

I can physically feel my DOWNSTAIRS neighbors foot steps and every move across their apartment. And loudly hear every motion coming from when someone is in the apartment next to me. Like, shaking the TV on my wall from neighbors footsteps loud. 2 sound machines and a fan and its still loud. Windows offer little to no noise dampening to the point you can hear someone's conversation clear as day across the parking lot from your closed window. People sit in their car and blast music in the middle of the night. And little kids that play in the garages in the afternoon i saw puropsly kicking balls around into peoples cars/the fence by my window and throwing stuff off the balcony. Office staff I havent had the best communication with and its very comman with them to make you feel like you'rethe problem asking for remedies wven though its literally their job to fix them. The only helpful and kind one was Jeremiah. Had I known all of this before I signed a lease I can guarantee I wouldnt have signed it. My advice? For 1575 for a 1 bedroom plus the added utilities they stack on top (near 200 monthly) so a total of almost 1800 a month. Go somewhere else. Ive emailed their corperate etc and always get zero response. Beyond disappointed.

A…read more$2,000 a month apartment having a bug infestation upon move-in, faulty electrical plugs, and being falsely advertised is insane- a windowless room with no ventilation is not legally a bedroom in Oregon, yet they will advertise it as so, even showing a window in the floor plan. Do not rent this place sight unseen and document the entire unit top to bottom the second you get the keys or they'll try to screw you over. We were billed over $4,000 for 'damages', including $3,000 for 'carpet cleaning', which seems high given the unit had less than 500sq feet of carpet. It seems like they just wanted to renovate and stick us with the bill. They refused to let anyone dispute the charges and said 'you just have to pay what we tell you to pay', and wouldn't even speak with an attorney. Tried to contact billing and only got automated responses back. Showed us blurry photos of carpet that just needed to be vacuumed and seemed to think that justified the cost. Don't waste your time or money here, management is shady as fuck.

What really stands out about Amberglen is the staff. They have been unfailingly friendly, helpful and professional. I have dealt mostly with Ramona, who has consistently gone the extra mile to make sure my floor plan fit my preferences, my move-in was stress-free and any questions I had were answered. Maintenance is also a real plus. They responded quickly to resolve the few issues that came up. I highly recommend this complex to anyone considering an apartment near the Hillsboro-Tanasbourne area.

Shortly after we moved in we began dealing with hundreds of ants coming into our apartment causing me to have to deep clean just about everyday when I get home from work cause ants come out of the unsealed cracks where the walls meet the floor. They must have an ant infestation or something going on in the walls but definitely should have been mentioned prior to us moving in because we would've gone elsewhere, to top everything off this apartment complex has COCKROACHES which I found out by turning on the closet light and theres a roach in the light. Our dishwasher and washing machine gave off a horrible smell the first few weeks of us moving in and there's mold around the light fixtures and wouldn't be surprised if there's mold elsewhere. This place is NOT well maintained and honestly needs to be shut down it's disgusting and we will moving out as soon as our lease is up and make sure to spread the word publicly that this complex is disgusting and to not move in here. This is by far the best apartment we lived in during our time in Hillsboro! Creekside did a wonderful job of making us feel like we were tucked away out of the city, even though Cornell road was right next to us. The Rock Creek Nature Trail running behind us was a huge plus. We loved walking it and watching the changing scenery as the seasons progressed. Jennifer and Grace, in the office, are incredible! We were so blown away the first time they called us by name. Nobody else at previous residences had ever made the effort to do that before! These ladies really care, and we were sad to say goodbye to them! Adam and his crew were always excellent at taking care of any maintenance requests we had ASAP. It was so nice to know we wouldn't ever have to wait weeks to get things resolved! And now for the apartment itself. We really loved the layout of this home. We lived in a 2 bed 2 bath. By far one of my favorite parts was the balcony overlooking the green space. Gorgeous and so peaceful! Second to that was my kitchen. I spend a lot of my time in the kitchen, so it's important to have a well-planned space. ;) I loved the large amount of counter space, lots of cabinets and drawers, and overall open feel that it offered. The bedrooms were laid out nicely, as well. The master was just off the living room, (but you could close the door if you didn't want people looking in!) and the guest room was at the other end of the apartment by the guest bathroom. Works out very well for having people come and stay over. Everybody gets their privacy! :) We were lucky enough to have the top floor, so we also got a vaulted ceiling in our living room. Being a couple of tall folks, we really loved how un-claustrophobic it felt! ;) We were told when we moved in that most people stay at Creekside for years, and really only leave if they are moving into a house. While our situation was slightly different, I definitely believe we would have stayed there for years otherwise! What a wonderful place to call home

Paid for parking the entire time and people still parked in my spot or blocked me in like it was free-for-all. Management? Useless. They never did anything about it, and yes--it's illegal, but apparently that means nothing here especially as the one time someone actually got towed, it wasn't because management did their job--it was because a resident finally got fed up and called the tow truck themselves. I saw it. Maintenance is slow. Don't hold your breath if something breaks. The policy as of recently states to perform maintenance yourself before contacting management which means you'll probably fix it yourself before they show up which isn't convenient at all especially if you don't have the tools or permission. The security here is another thing, the cameras? must be for decoration. People come and go like a public sidewalk so I don't understand what they're there for especially since there's no gate, no checks, nothing. Anyone can walk in. Consider other options before relocating here. Other spots nearby have more for less--which doesn't make this a good option in the first place Not worth it really unless you have specific dog breeds or is the closest place from work, 4/10
