As I write I realize my hope with this "review" is to go beyond by sharing my sentiments and emotions with Reed's as well as my purchases. This specific writing is about my watch journey over the course of nearly 60 years. Finding an "automatic" watch in my grandmother's attic at the age of 7 and knowing what automatic meant should have been my first clue as to the importance of my watch relationship that would evolve over time. ( I'll spare everyone the majority of the details but suffice it to say there is a story behind each and every watch I have acquired.) I'm happy to say Gary, Amanda and Michele at Reed's all understand and embrace the importance to me of developing a story about watches I acquire and have each been personally involved "continuing down the path with me" for my acquisitions! The inventory selections Reed's have is very very important to me; getting to know and understand their nuances that speak most significantly to my interests. Reeds Jewelers has a great selection of watches from a variety of brands, with everything from Movado and Bulova, all the way to Tudor and Breitling. Their selection is diverse enough that you will definitely find at least one piece that speaks to you, even if you go in blind. Their staff are very friendly and welcoming, and do a great job of showcasing the best points of their watches. (It goes without saying that they are experienced and knowledgeable.) Even if you are not a huge Tudor fan, I would definitely recommend you stop by to check them out. read more

Fantastic service. Really impressive! My husband and I went in to the Victor store to inquire about re-setting my engagement ring from 18 yrs ago, and finding a new band. I told Brandon Previte, our salesperson that I wanted something simple and he nailed it with selecting options. I found a new set that I really love within about 15 mins. He coordinated getting my original diamond reset in the new band, and it was ready in 4 business days for pickup. He provided an appraisal and really cleaned up my old set nicely so I can sell it, for no charge. Price was fair and he was delightful to work with. Highly recommend! read more

I had the distinct pleasure of stopping into the Reeds in Rochester while heading to a family event. I have been a Reeds customer in Buffalo/Amherst for over 25 years. I stopped there on my way to a family event to get a gift, and, as always found the perfect gift. While there they offered to check my rings, even though I had just had them done in the Amherst store, I agreed and thank goodness I did. They immediately noticed that a diamond was loose and kept it to repair. They also noticed my ring finger looked like ti was cut. I explained that my Amherst store had put something in it to make it smaller, but it kept cutting my finger. They immediately offered to make the rings smaller and took out the part that was cutting my finger. The entire staff was amazing!! I will definitely go back there even though it is 1 1/2 hour away. Everyone made me feel so welcome and they were happy to help me. When I returned to get my ring, I felt like I had known them for a long time.
