There are a variety of country-style gifts, but I would say that textile products are the predominant items. You can find a large assortment of pillows, towels and so forth. Many of the products are made in the USA. It is a bit cramped inside, but the atmosphere is very nice. Jazz music floats through the rooms both upstairs and down. The style is very specific - country. Not my specific style, but I liked looking around, and if you're out that way it would make for a good place to buy gifts.

I had no idea ! It had been years since I last visited, so I was really excited to go back with my sisters. Staff welcomed us, we got some drinks and had such a fun time sniffing all the endless possibilities we could create. Once we had our fave lists together and sat down to create the scent... I ended up not loving mine. Even with their help and some tweaking, I just wasn't feeling it at all, which was a little disappointing for me. I did end up finding a happy medium in the end.. and honestly I was having such a good time with my family that I didn't let it bother me anyway. BUT when I picked up my candle the next day... I was completely blown away !! The scent had mellowed out and smelled way better than the day before. Like it was basically what I was looking for ! I guess sometimes it's just like that. So if you're not loving what you made... just wait until you pick it up and give it a sniff then. I will definitely be back now that I have my list of favorite smells and cant wait to make another.

The space for yoga is big enough to hold about 20 yogis the smaller space I am not sure. It's an older building that has charm and lovely old wood floors. Their prices were affordable. Definitely less expensive than ordering online. Plus it's nice to walk around and see all the options. They have an entire crystal and mineral section. I could have been in that store for hours. It had a family environment, parents shopping with their kids. If your kids are into metals, rocks, or crystals this spot is it. I wasn't looking but I'm sure they have D&D stuff and other fun gam I liked the store a lot. Some of these mystic shops have a witchy vibe, which isn't my thing. This place felt more wholesome. You can get what you need most likely if you're spiritual from this shop, BUT-- there's a seeming lack of social responsibility that should concern my fellow respectful witches. They sell white sage and native/African cultural practice tools that are not appropriate for mass consumption. (Outside of people of those descents.) In their 7 day candle section there was an 'Indian power candle' referring to natives, along with the white smudge sticks and other tools of that nature. It is my understanding based upon the actual words of Native American people in the spiritual and witchcraft community that native sourced dream catchers and such ARE an appropriate thing to sell as long as actual Native Americans are the source of these goods and being compensated, but white sage is both unsustainable and not meant to be used outside of their closed practices. And using a native person as a mascot on your candle with the wrong terminology is beyond inappropriate.

I am a plant killer and the terrariums are ideal for people like me. When covid hit she offered a deal that she would deliver the terrarium kit to the house. So I bought one for my four year old son. He had so much fun putting it all together. Just recently I took a zoom class with Greece library that was offered by Jardin. We made wreaths, all the things needed for the project were included. I have experienced in person, solo with instructions and zoom with Kathleen. Kathleen is so knowledgeable and makes the experience so much fun. I highly recommend picking up a kit or attending a class. You will not be disappointed

Jardin Terrariums hosted a free virtual Yelp event that unfortunately I missed due to work…read moreobligations, but I purchased a kit in advance because I expected to take part in it. It was $25 for a small BYO terrarium kit, not including shipping. A bit pricey for the size, but with the pandemic and all I don't mind spending a bit more to support small businesses. I loved the little figurine options, of which there were many cute choices, but my heart was stolen by Bigfoot. The kit came a few days before the event, and I opened it to see if there were instructions on how to store the plant until the event, or any "pre-event" instructions in general. There weren't, and I had had to pick up my kit on my way out of town (I was visiting a friend over the weekend and I didn't want to leave my kit items strewn about his place). So I left everything in the box but brought it inside to keep it in a temperature-controlled climate. I'm not great with plants and I've killed too many of them, so although the one tiny plant that was included looked like it wasn't in the best of shape from the get go, I had no clue how to make it perk up. Although I missed the virtual event, I still made time that evening to build my terrarium. Luckily my friend attended the event, and she gave me a few useful tips that weren't in the included build instructions (which were very helpful)! The instructions were clear enough and the terrarium was easy enough to build. My terrarium came out really cute, but unfortunately my plant had been overwatered before it was sent to me. The soil around the roots was super damp when I pulled it out of its packaging, and although I tried to remove as much of that soil as possible and didn't add any extra water to the new dirt before closing up my terrarium, there's still way too much moisture in my terrarium. The moss is looking really damp now, the condensation makes it difficult to see the details of the terrarium, and the plant is drooping and discolored. Maybe if I had attended the event, I would have been able to ask for tips on how I could have avoided/fixed this. I took away a star because I basically paid almost $50 for sand, pebbles, dirt, a jar, and a dying plant. If the plant had looked more like my friend's, I would have been totally satisfied. I'm happy with the end result otherwise.
