Amazing service from Mike. I'm from out of state visiting and drove my Subaru WRX 1,000 miles here and was having a problem with my brakes. Not many shops in town work on Subaru's let alone a WRX. Reed's was fully booked yet they squeezed me in the same day because I would be leaving next week. They were honest and upfront and found the issue and fixed it quickly. They even told me to come back so they can double check before I hit the road again. Outstanding service! I highly recommend if you have an Asian vehicle to stop by and schedule with them! read more

Mike Reed is an excellent mechanic and wonderful person--knowledgeable, passionate about the work, always a pleasure. After decades of taking our cars to Reeds, I still recommend him, but can no longer recommend the shop as a whole because the office manager has become unreliable. I brought in a Toyota for inspection before a road trip. Mike and I spent half an hour examining the vehicle and agreeing on a plan. Then the office manager told me I would get an estimate within two weeks. Two weeks later, the estimate was not ready. She pointed to a stack of other customers orders and told me they were overwhelmed--now another two weeks with a promised call when ready, with work starting a month after that. Three weeks later, no call had come, so I stopped in again. The estimate was still not prepared. I was told it would be another week with a promised call when ready. I never received that call. After all those weeks I waited and time invested, not once did management show basic concern or offer an apology for the delays and unfulfilled promises. I found a new import shop who gets me in within days, communicates directly throughout the work, and texts me updates and progress photos--game changing difference in service. I'll miss Mike, but not the office runaround. It all worked out though--I now get quicker, friendlier service elsewhere. read more

I called on a Friday to make an appointment for service to my Nissan. Much to my surprise, the lukewarm receptionist informed me that they could not schedule me until they could "research" my vehicle. I provided my license plate number, as requested, and was told they would get back to me the following Monday. I never heard from them again. After waiting a week, I called another local auto mechanic and was treated as though they actually wanted my business. I was immediately scheduled for the following Monday, my car was promptly and professionally serviced that day and i was quite satisfied with the service. I have no idea as to the quality of work at Reed's Import Specialists. However, I do recommend anyone looking for mechanic work on their vehicle in a timely manner try someone else. read more

Honest. They have good reason to have so many customers. Very reasonable prices, very high knowledge of Japanese vehicles.

I have taken my Toyota Tacoma to Reed's for over 20 years and I have always been satisfied with their service. Recently i had some shifting issues in my manual transmission fixed and it was done in a timely manner despite some complications with broken pieces that made it more difficult to fix. The final cost was very reasonable. It was beyond my expectations! read more

We have taken our vehicles, and our family's vehicles, here for 15 years. The very first time I went in there to get an oil change, another customer (unknown to me) said, "Isn't this the best place ever?" I was mightily impressed with that. Mike and staff are professional mechanics with integrity. Compared to all the other mechanics we've experienced in our car-owning lives, they are the ultimate in care, courtesy, and concern. They are expert in what they do; but if a problem stumps them, they will admit it, and do tests until they can figure it out. Heads up: make an appointment. They're too busy to see new customers on the same day (unless it's an emergency; in which case, they drop everything and attend to you). Lastly: you get what you pay for. Mike guarantees his work for two years. It might be cheaper elsewhere, but will your vehicle still work in three months? read more

My nephew's vehicle was stolen from Reed's after he was told that the vehicle was stored indoors. They take no responsibility for the theft. If you are planning to leave your vehicle in their possession be warned. See attached pic. read more

Mike the manager and service writer seems professional and polite however you'll soon find if you continue to go back they will over promise and under deliver. The first year was very good, unfortunately the last two repairs not so much. Phone calls were not returned as promised (repeatedly) and Mike's wife attempted to quote me about $75.00 more than Mike had. A power window repair (over $200.00) did not last and promises to get the part in and call me did not happen. Prior to that he was going to rebuild my distributor but again calls were not returned. I found a new mechanic who got me a brand new distributor off of eBay for less than Reeds Imports was going to charge for a rebuilt old one. read more

Amazing place to get your car fixed. Mike is a super great person that is so intelligent and knowledgeable. As a 20 year old with no knowledge about cars he still ran me through every thing he was doing with my car and double checked what Les Schwab told me needed to be fixed and saved me $800. Incredible. There's a lot of cars there but they are very diligent with rotating their customers on time! read more

My go to place for my older Tundra. He basically treats your car like its his. Stands by his work too. I have had 2 issues where the OEM factory part went bad a year later, he fixed them no charge. read more

Excellent customer service, we had a "check engine light" come on, Reeds ran the test and found it was a loose gas cap...NO CHARGE for this service... highly recommend read more

This is a busy shop. Drive through the lot and see for your self. Why do you think it's so busy all the time? You think it could be his quality work? Who has time to search the internet Ebay for best one up prices? An efficient quality shop? I probably shouldn't mention this because I know to many people will try to take advantage; but the only thing I might complain about, if pressed for a complaint, would be getting a bill from him so I can pay him. It has seemed he's more concerned about getting every body's car working right than to take the time billing them for the work. My concern is if he doesn't get paid, he won't be there next time I need a really good mechanic. read more

I would not take my car anywhere else-- we have been customers since 2008. Great work. Honest. Never had a problem with their work. They stand behind everything. They only do work that needs to be done. They are terrific at coming up with lower cost solutions when dealer parts are overpriced. I now even have oil changes done there -- is more expensive than Jiffy Lube for that , but they keep a record of all the maintenance and it works for me. We buy new cars and then drive them forever -- we have two cars with almost 200K on them and Reeds will keep them going for at least another 50K, or more. read more
