I have fallen in love with Reed's Dairy Ice Cream. It is the old style ice cream like what I grew up eating. Creamy, real flavorings, and not ice crystals in the mix. Usually when I have chocolate ice cream it leaves an aftertaste which is unpleasant. With Reed's Dairy Ice Cream the chocolate is smooth with no artifical taste. So Yummy. This is a good spot for their location in Ammon. I still like their main location on the other side of town better. However, this one is very convenient. The staff is always friendly and helpful. It's clean and comfortable. Of course, the ice cream and Aches are amazing. I especially love the huckleberry flavor. The grilled cheese sandwich with soup is a family favorite. read more

If I could give it a zero I would I went to get an ice cream and I was with a friends the lady with curly hair I'm not too sure of her name but she was so unprofessional and rude was ROLLING her eyes as my friend ordered, my friend was having a hard time ordering because of this lady.it was horrible I've never had such a bad experience with a worker there. Spent $15 for ice cream which one of the ice cream was very grainy and could even eat. Called the young girl who was in charge told her and she said "is it grainy" I said yes and she then said okay thanks and hung up. Horrible customer service. read more

Someone mentioned "gelato" in their review. Reed's does NOT have gelato. They have Italian Ice and that's not the same. Mom and I stopped in here for dessert. She wanted gelato and had to settle for a coconut Italian ice. It was good enough for Italian ice, maybe too sweet and so she had five or six scoops and that was enough. I had a small cup of the salted caramel. Decent but also too sweet. Yes, Reed's is connected to a gas station but the only connection is a shared door. This is their own separate place. read more

Ice cream is always good, but we ordered a few sandwiches, and instead of making sure our order was filled, the kids were flirting with each other in the back, burnt our first set of sandwiches after we waited for 10-15 minutes for two grilled cheeses, then had to wait for our sandwiches to come out correctly. read more

The workers are young kids.. so that says everything you need to know about service. I heard a lot of gossip I didn't care to know! Over all the ice cream is good, was it the best? Probably not. My niece took us here last night after hiking all day in the Tetons. Staff were very friendly. Place is very clean. SO many flavors it was difficult to decide. Went with the Honey Comb Crunch and was NOT disappointed. Good portions as well. Hope to get back one more time before heading back to FL. read more

It's awful there. The teens that work there are what makes it awful. You ask for a milkshake or any food and they don't pay any attention to what they are doing. I went in to order two grilled cheese and while they were cooking she burnt them because she just wanted to mess around and talk to her friends. So I told her I wanted new ones because these grilled cheese were black. And the new ones she gave me were still burnt. Service is good, with mostly young, clean cut servers. Atmosphere is simple, but hey---at least this store doesn't smell like dairy cattle. My brother and I came into the store one night and he ordered a milkshake. Shortly after we came in a huge rush of people also came in probably about 10-15 people. Slowly one by one these people kept getting their orders filled and it was down to us and the last members of the rush.
