Having used Benn before, we entrusted everything to him while we tried to sell the house from afar. Benn was given keys to the house and studio. He not only managed everything but sent photos as well, reassuring us when were are 650 miles away. He was eyes and ears for any issues and most he could manage himself. When we needed him to meet with Real Estate Agents, he made himself available. When we needed him to return unused equipment to Spectrum, he did so. From painting to repair to building walkways to keeping the yard trimmed and free from weeds and bugs, Benn was there for us. I cannot give a higher recommendation.

I initially contacted them to inspect and repair a fireplace at my rental that was not functioning. After their visit, the scope of work quickly expanded, and the estimate grew to over $15,000. This raised concerns for me, so I sought additional opinions from a licensed electrician and other trusted local professionals. Every single one of them expressed shock at how high the estimate was and mentioned they had never seen pricing that extreme for this type of work. Based on my experience, it felt like unnecessary issues were being identified in order to significantly increase the total cost.

Because we live in an HOA, we needed someone we could trust to mow the lawn while we were still hundreds of miles away, and after using Yelp's project quote feature and receiving multiple estimates, The Mowing Magician immediately stood out. What impressed us first was the responsiveness, attention to detail, and overall value. Our property is 1.25 acres with a large sloped front lawn, plus a steep hill beyond a retaining wall in the backyard. To make things even trickier, the house had sat vacant for over 200 days, so there was significant overgrowth - especially in the steep backyard area (see before/after photos). From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. He fit us into his schedule the same week we reached out, proactively confirmed the appointment the day before, showed up exactly when promised, and communicated thoughtfully throughout the process. Since we weren't there in person, it meant so much that he took photos, asked questions whenever he needed clarity, and sent before/after photos so we could see the results ourselves. When you're trusting someone with your property from out of state, details and follow-through matter and The Mowing Magician absolutely delivered.
