This cemetery is definitely my style. Nice and open and accessible. They seem to have some pretty tolerant policies. No apparent rules banning specific decorations. A lot of places do have such rules, and they seem a bit heavy-handed. I didn't see anything particularly tacky, and I enjoyed the various expressions of individuality we encountered on the well-kept grounds.
It is a bummer that we brought some pretty flowers right before the "mowing season" begins. Just our luck.
Considering the overall population of the town, there does seem to be a disproportionately high number of young and newly dead residents whenever I visit, which is as often as possible.
The nice lady in the office tried to help us find our friend. We appreciated the accessible restrooms and, although they could have been cleaner, they weren't bad.

Happy Birthday, Pooh! We miss you and wish you were(n't) here.
Uncle Kaz, I hope you'll excuse the fact that we appropriated your vase to hold some of Pooh's pink birthday flowers. I'm sure you can appreciate the sentiment if not the color.
I don't know whether you knew that your wife married you because she could wear heels when she was with you. I would have bet on your handsome face myself. But seriously, she still loves you so much that she says she could never look at another man. I imagine most of us can only dream of such a love.
What a lucky girl Pooh was to have had such a loving family! read more
