After months of avoiding making calls regarding cremation for one of my twins that will be…read morestillborn at delivery, I reached out to Angels Cremation. I had the delight of speaking with Elver. Elver and I discussed my current situation. Before even continuing the conversation, Elver was extremely empathetic and compassionate which is truly a blessing as a loss parent with disenfranchised grief. He asked a few preliminary questions regarding when my Baby A had passed in utero, where I was delivering at, etc. Before I could elaborate on what I wanted, Elver explained the cost was basically the fees for the county permit and a death certificate should I choose to want one. Additionally, he gave me a brief run down as to the process which basically entails letting the hospital know who would be handling the cremation and when we would like them to pick him up and they would handle the rest. I have a friend handling all this for me upon delivery and I was able to easily relay this information to her. I am so glad Angel's is the first place I reached out to and I feel so at ease after speaking with Elver.

I rarely leave reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience so others are aware…read more I was contacted on Tuesday and told my father's remains would be ready for pickup at the Sanger office on Wednesday between 11am-2pm. I arranged transportation and made the nearly hour-long drive, only to be told upon arrival that my father was not there and that I was not even on the schedule. The staff member present was kind and apologetic, and after attempting multiple calls to the main office with no answer, I was assured my father's remains would be delivered to my home the following day. It has now been over 24 hours since that promise, and I have received no communication, no update, and no explanation as to where my father is. Losing a parent is already incredibly difficult. Not knowing where their remains are--and being met with silence from the very people entrusted with their care--is deeply distressing and unacceptable. I am sharing this not out of anger, but out of concern for others who may trust this service during one of the most vulnerable times in their lives. At minimum, families deserve clear communication, accountability, and basic follow-through. I sincerely hope this situation is resolved quickly and that no other family has to experience this level of uncertainty.

Do not recommend even after giving them two chances. If you don't pay up and sign up for them to…read moredo the services and upgrade for their urns etc for sale, forget ever receiving your family member's remains in less than 3 months. First my mother died in September 2023 at AV Hospital, so signed death certificate form from physician. I had to call repeatedly to learn what had happened after Don so kindly and fake concernedly promised her remains return within a few weeks. No on returned my phone calls. They excused it to having my wrong phone number. Interestingly to have such a mistake when you have to complete most forms on line directly and he could use the correct number to try and upsale additional items for increased cost... Second try was from unexpected death of father , at home in a quick hospice placement in July 2024. Due to the hospice physician's errors in death report LA County was required to complete an autopsy which required medical records. However, Don and his group never got back to me about problem and it took almost 3 months to get the Coroner the hospital records and treatments. Then within a week of me getting them and speaking directly with the Coroner he was cremated. However, again had to call repeatedly to inquire as to when his remains were available. Again no consistent return of phone calls. Don and his daughter could never remember my father's or my name and had to look for records, so not too concerned and obviously have problems with many many clients. Save your family more heartache and frustration and go with another group , as it will be more timely and not cost anymore either. If I could give a negative rating I would.

They definitely take advantage on charges, way more than posted costs on everything. Not trustworthyread more

She was patient and comforting with my mother and assisted me with navigating through the process of laying my uncle to rest. On the evening of the rosary and day of the burial, Nate from Salser & Dillard, was great. He and the other team members were helpful and attentive. Everyone from the ladies at the front desk to the ushers at the rosary were friendly and professional. I would highly recommend Salser & Dillard to anyone in need of a funeral home. I just can't thank them enough!

May 2025 A Compassionate, Respectful, and Seamless Experience During a Difficult Time…read more-Planning my father's funeral was one of the most emotionally difficult moments of my life, but Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel provided compassionate, respectful, and professional support from start to finish. I worked closely with Christina, who guided me through the funeral planning process with grace and empathy. She listened patiently to all my questions, comments, and concerns, and made sure I understood each detail before making any decisions. I appreciated how she respected my privacy and never made me feel rushed or pressured. Every change I requested was communicated clearly, and I felt truly supported throughout the entire process. I was especially grateful for the private time I was given with my father in the days leading up to the service something I will never forget. On the day of the funeral, everything went exactly as planned. Frank was incredibly kind and personable, helping ensure the service flowed smoothly and on schedule. His presence and professionalism brought a sense of calm to what was otherwise a very emotional day. Following the service, we moved directly across the parking lot to the reception venue, where I worked with Jessica as our event coordinator. Jessica was outstanding she helped plan every detail of our potluck reception, offered thoughtful suggestions, and made sure the space was beautifully arranged. Her professionalism and warmth were evident from our planning meeting through the day of the event. I was very pleased with the overall package we selected and the quality of service provided by both the funeral chapel and the event venue. During a time of deep sorrow, Salser & Dillard gave me peace of mind and allowed my family to focus on honoring and remembering my father. I am truly thankful for the care and support I received from the entire team.
