On the night my father passed, they were superb in coming to get him very late, and they were careful and compassionate about my stepmom's feelings. On this, they get high marks. The next day, however, they were just salesmen. Buy this urn, pay more for upgrades... They went through the cremation checklist with little of the compassion we had seen the night before. Just, "get'er done." They were not rude or anything, but in this industry, grieving people need a little extra hand-holding and overt concern for their well-being. The cremation was performed well, and they provided an adequate container for Dad's ashes. We did not purchase one after all. The cost was about what I expected, and they seem to have performed the basic functions in a professional way. If we had a choice, in the future I would go elsewhere. This is not awful, but not great.

When I purchased three lots a couple years ago, I was told that I could decorate I could put balloons. I could put a bunch of flowers around his stone and that is honestly why I went with the cemetery and now to say that I'm only allowed to put anything in the flower pot. And if I want more decorations to buy another flower pot, how disgusting what a bunch of corporate greed. I literally feel lied to. We need to rally up and stand up to this corporation and file a community lawsuit. They put up signs for everything how convenient of them to not put up signs that they would be enforcing this on a day where they are not even supposed to touch our decorations. And all the families there are very mindful when decorating I've seen how beautiful the cemetery looks. These last couple of days it has been so sad to go. I am already speaking to a lawyer because this has caused me such pain. I've read my contract and I'm having my contract looked at. I recommend all of us do the same.

After months of avoiding making calls regarding cremation for one of my twins that will be…read morestillborn at delivery, I reached out to Angels Cremation. I had the delight of speaking with Elver. Elver and I discussed my current situation. Before even continuing the conversation, Elver was extremely empathetic and compassionate which is truly a blessing as a loss parent with disenfranchised grief. He asked a few preliminary questions regarding when my Baby A had passed in utero, where I was delivering at, etc. Before I could elaborate on what I wanted, Elver explained the cost was basically the fees for the county permit and a death certificate should I choose to want one. Additionally, he gave me a brief run down as to the process which basically entails letting the hospital know who would be handling the cremation and when we would like them to pick him up and they would handle the rest. I have a friend handling all this for me upon delivery and I was able to easily relay this information to her. I arranged transportation and made the nearly hour-long drive, only to be told upon arrival that my father was not there and that I was not even on the schedule. The staff member present was kind and apologetic, and after attempting multiple calls to the main office with no answer, I was assured my father's remains would be delivered to my home the following day. It has now been over 24 hours since that promise, and I have received no communication, no update, and no explanation as to where my father is. Losing a parent is already incredibly difficult. Not knowing where their remains are--and being met with silence from the very people entrusted with their care--is deeply distressing and unacceptable. I am sharing this not out of anger, but out of concern for others who may trust this service during one of the most vulnerable times in their lives. At minimum, families deserve clear communication, accountability, and basic follow-through. I sincerely hope this situation is resolved quickly and that no other family has to experience this level of uncertainty.
