I spoke with Tania, and she provided our family with the list services they provided for a memorial service for our mother. I called other chapels in Visalia, but couldn't get a definite confirmation on the day we had requested. So we called Tania back and we set our appointment to meet and go over all the details as well as look at the chapel. Again, we met with Tania who was professional, empathetic and didn't rush us whatsoever as we looked over book and flower options. We thought the chapel size was perfect for our family. She emphasized that we were to make this space "ours" and bring as many mementos we needed to honor our mother. The slideshow was beautifully done, Father Rod Craig (who they referred us to since my mother is Catholic) was amazing. The memorial service was beautifully done and we know this was exactly what our mother wanted. Even while dealing with the pain of losing our mother, our dad was happy that we chose Hadley Marcom; they paid attention to every detail.

For on 12/19 /2015 I received from owner, Karen Franzen copies and a handwritten note with the names and dollar amount of coverage from two policies belonging to my dad. Then on 01/05 /2016 we notified Dopkins Funeral Home in Dinuba that we would be needing my dad's body to be picked up, once again coverage was verified. About 5 or 6 hours later we were ready for them to come. So again we called, only to be told that one of the policies had expired. Obviously staff members failed in doing their job. It is without question that their inaccuracy of providing such critical information should not be mistaken. For in doing so, my Dad's funeral services were not as we had hoped and planned. It's not like we can have another funeral again to give him what he truly deserved. Instead of comfort in helping us to start healing we felt more pain to say the least. ADVISORY (TW) Possible trigger warring: There is evidence of remains mishandling, dead rodent droppings on the body, a melted glass jar between the body's thighs MELTED into the skin, with dead maggots, evidence they may be experimenting with human remains... and even pressured the family saying "BURN THE BODY ALREADY" etc don't read on if you've got a weak stomach. THE nightmare with this facility involved a litany of unspeakable violations: * Retaliation and Biohazard Exposure: The decedent's brother was forced to wait over a month just to view his brother's body, only to be subjected to retaliatory hostility and interrogation-room intimidation. When they were finally allowed back, they were offered zero Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and handed a mask only upon asking. * Unsecured Public Viewing & Mutilated Remains: The body was wheeled into an unsecured, regular public waiting room accessible to anyone AND EXPOSED TO THE REGULAR WAITING AREA WHERE YOU YOURSELF WOULD SIT TO WAIT. The physical condition of the remains was horrific and defied basic science--the top half was decomposed beyond belief while the bottom half was remarkably preserved, raising terrifying questions about improper preservation, experimental handling, or an active identity swap. * Foreign Debris and Pest Infestation: Most abhorrently, the body was found with a melted jar wedged between its legs, alongside maggots and rodent droppings. * Financial Extortion & Forensic Deception: After local law enforcement neglected their statutory duty to collect DNA, the grieving family was forced to pay out-of-pocket costs. Worse, the facility tech Tania Hill engaged in a malicious bait-and-switch: promising that fingernails had been sent for testing, then ignoring any further communication with the family. Only for the lab to reveal later that they Sterling & Smith / Tania Hill had sent bones instead-- HOW DO YOU MISTAKE BONES FOR FINGERNAILS? THESE PEOPLE ARE SICK- EVIL MONSTERS - leaving the family to be mocked via text message ("lol") and cruelly pressured and they tried to extort the family for 3K extra to fix Tania Hills "fingernail" collection & complete chain-of-custody failures. NOT ACCEPTABLE PERIOD. From blocking valid 50-50 authorization proxies to subjecting a grieving mother to text-message mockery and psychological abuse, this facility operates with zero human decency, zero regulatory compliance, and a complete disregard for the dignity of the dead. They called me at 7:30am for payment. The lady told me she'll be ready in three days. I called back and a gentleman answered, I asked him when can we say goodbyes. He said it'll be $300 more and in two days time. He said he'll have someone reach out to me for the date and time. I waited all that day and the next day and no phone call so I started calling after 2pm 3x that day and no one answered. I called repeatedly for the next two days drove to their," office ". Long story shot, three weeks and few answers phone calls with them saying waiting on state licensing. They cremated her before we got to say goodbye. I went to pick her up on February 13, 2026. Yes they gave me a refund and an urn but still to this very day I feel like I failed my daughter. I wish I had never took the recommendation from that Nurse. I do not recommend this company. The receptionist is so so rude.

Not sure how to review a cemetery but from I'm observation here it is…read more As you drive in thru the two rustic brick pillars off of Giddings and Goshen Ave. It opens up to lush green well kept lawns and a paved narrow road. There is plenty of parking throughout the grounds. The oldest part of the grounds have large garnet head stones and statues just breath taking and yet peaceful at the same time. We attended a gravesite service in the area where cremations are buried the lawns well maintained. There were two canopies erected for shade and chairs provided for family and friends to sit As the service was given. All in all it seems like a peaceful resting place for loved to visit.
