Their prices are exorbitant, which they conceal during the short, intense sales process during which they do not reveal the facts. Very very dishonest. They have a very high cancellation fee of $300 which is not disclosed in the sales process. They don't show you the contract in adnance or even tell you there is one until the salesman shoves a piece of technology in your face to sign so that you don't have the chance to read it. They don't go over it with you in a way that anyone could understand because the salesman is so fast talking. When you call to cancel they tell you that the contract is non-cancellable unless you're willing to pay their exorbitant fee of $300 to $400. They appear to target elders. When the guy showed up to do the first application, he didn't listen to my request for a debrief before he left and and he was gone so fast that I have no idea what he actually did even though I asked him for the debrief with me before he left. They wanted me to leave my property gate unlocked so that he could come in and leave without my even knowing it, which I refused to do. They have absolutely no regard for their customers or their needs. I agree with the other reviews: DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE DISHONEST!!!'!!!!!

Woods Pest Control is a great business…read more Our technician, who visits every month to preventativly treat outside our home, is very professional, friendly and courteous. He also does a wonderful job: even living in a big green space with plenty of potential 'pests', we don't have any in the house! Once some ants started to come in during the rainy season, and we just called Woods Pest Control. Our technician came out the very next day to scope things out carefully & strategically place bait outside. The ants left quickly. If they hadn't, he said to let him know & he would return. When some hornets built a nest over our front door, Woods Pest Control came that day to remove it, and we didn't have to be present. Neither of these additional house calls cost us anything extra beyond our monthly preventative care rate. Different homes must have different prices, but for our house it's $55 per month for all this, and it is worth it for the peace of mind and excellent, dependable service. We're glad my family recommended them!

Even when you clearly explain the pest problem upfront, they insist on sending someone out just to "take a look," which can take weeks. After that, the actual treatment appointment is scheduled weeks or even months later -- and often gets rescheduled due to vague or unforeseen reasons. The end result is endless delays and very few actual service visits. By dragging out inspections and repeatedly pushing appointments, they effectively reduce how often they have to come out, while still claiming the service is unlimited. Meanwhile, the pest problem remains unresolved. If you're looking for timely, proactive pest control, this approach feels more like a tactic to avoid service than to provide it.
