I discovered Steven Light, owner of Redwood Cycles while he was parked at Clam Beach waiting on riders out on the Hammond trail. A friend of mine wanted to do an E-Bike tour so I inquired about The Avenue Of The Giants ride. Steven was amazing from the beginning of booking till the end of the tour and beyond. He was very good at communications, updates and photos as well as a little side trip in Meyers Flat, at my request. We needed at least 5 riders. Steven held the date for us while we got a crew together and brought in another interested single rider to make it work (what fun it was to make a new friend). Getting friends interested was a bit of a challenge because so many people believe they can't ride an E-Bike. We met on The Avenue Of The Giants on the morning of our scheduled ride. Everything went seamless and our group had a wonderful experience. I was an E-Bike doubter myself until this amazing ride with Redwood Cycles LLC. I learned every fitness level can ride an E-Bike. How does one make a decision to buy an ebike from scratch? there are hundreds of manufactures and thousands of styles. i had a price range and i knew i needed a step through. i just happened to come upon Steven Light on FB and went to his website. he had me out of the gate. Steve is a great guy. huge personality and i could see he was the type of person who just wanted me to be happy. i researched Senada Herald. i sent him probably 25 questions and he answered each one. the process was flawless from beginning to end. and his company offers a discount when ordered through them. Steve kept in touch and followed up after delivery to see if i were satisfied and if i had any assembly questions. what more could anyone ask for. the bike was shipped in an extra heavy corrugated box with reinforced plastic handles for carrying...not just cuts in the box. the bike came damage free. If you are planning a visit to the Redwood Park area, rent an ebike or two from Steven. He runs a great business. I flew in from NY so all the arrangements were make electronically. Steven responded quickly to all my inquiries and, when the pickup day arrived, was equally as efficient. I got the bikes up to Elk Prairie and found one of them needed an adjustment that my tools could not make. Steven drove up the 50 miles immediately to make the repair and issued a discount/refund for my inconvenience. We visited from Michigan and were very grateful for Redwood Cycles- the entire motivation of our trip was to ride through the Redwoods and along the coast on Hwy 101.
