Called 10/18/21 was told still working on the estimate. Since Priority is a preferred provider of my insurance company, I scheduled a date to drop it off for the repair, not concerned about the estimate. Scheduled the drop off for 11/8/21. On 11/23/21 I called my insurance company to find a new provider since my truck had not moved from the spot it was left in on the 8th and I was going to pick it up. The insurance company called Priority and suddenly, my truck was moved. I was told it would be two weeks. I called 12/7. No update and no call back. Called 12/14 and was told it's a big job and it takes time (person who answered the phone had quite the attitude) Called 12/21, was told maybe next week. Drove by on 12/29 and saw my trick sitting in their lot. Stopped in and found out it was finished and ready. Took it home and discovered the radio wasn't reconnected properly and had to take it back. Then, just this week on 1/8 found my rear tire on the repair side of my truck was loose, prompting a call for roadside assistance. They NEVER called me. It took almost 3 months for them to complete the repair although, admittedly, they didn't start 6 or 7 weeks. The work looks good but there is no way I would ever recommend this business to anyone. No communication. No service. If it's possible to give no stars, please make the change for me.

My husband is a Disabled Veteran and we have been battling an as yet undiagnosed illness that has left us in bad shape. Facing a 6 month hospitalization we reached out to the Fallen and Wounded Soldiers Fund of MI for badly needed truck repairs. The shop treated us wonderfully, handling communication with FWSF and thoroughly inspecting the truck. It was a much bigger job than we had expected, but the guys tackled it with professionalism and a high standard for service. They never once made us feel bad that we needed help, or that the truck had gotten so neglected. The service we received was above and beyond any experience I've had with a mechanic. We were even told to bring it back in 500 miles so they could change the oil and double check any work that may be adjusting. Being that I am facing being separated while my husband is in the hospital and dealing with the truck on my own, this made both of us feel so much better. Our truck drives beautifully now and I have safe transportation to be able to visit my husband during a scary time. From start to finish with our experience in the shop we knew that we had found a gem. When we left, we were saying the same thing as the previous customer. We won't be going anywhere else. The obvious high bar for customer care and attention to detail from this shop can't be beat.

Had UFCR do a couple things for me. Valvoline said the inner section of my oil filter was damaged…read more& they replaced it free. So I wanted to have it looked at make sure it was done right & figure out why/how it was damaged. Apparently Valvoline must have dropped it. The damage wasn't caused by the car or road. My car needed a total transmission flush.. they did it in a timely manner & things are working good. The reason I went to them was in the spring I had some issues & come to find out there was a recall for it. When I had called Spartan Toyota (before going tho University Foreign Car Repair) they wanted over $200 to "diagnose". Interesting there's a recall & the dealership wants $ to diagnose a recall. The folks at University told me about it & printed out the recall info thus Spartan repaired it without the diagnostic fee. Who does that? Tells you there's a recall & take it to the dealership & get it fixed free. When I came in this time for these other things (granny flush etc) they told me they had a bad review. Now that I found surprising. These folks have been in business many years & always had a stellar reputation. But I didn't use them until recently. I was very confused by them 1st telling me about the bad review. So I read it. That post after reading it seemed like somethings missing. Maybe it was someone else's card, maybe she had a previous experience that went away? But something in it seems like there's more to it. These people at University knocked hundreds off what they originally quoted me. Even during the quote and drop off. When I came back, it was even less than quoted. The work was great. I had no problem with payment with my card. They were jovial gentleman, and truly seemed like they not only cared about my car, but my budget & me as a person. Some people are just never happy unless it's free & even then....they'd probably complain ​​

I needed a new mid-pipe on my exhaust, it had rusted through, and the dealership said it would be $1900 to fix, so they recommended I take it to muffler Man instead, they said they did this all the time. I dropped my car off, and within a day it was fixed, welded instead of replaced, for $140. Ryan, at the front desk, was super nice and friendly, and honest, and I just got great vibes from the whole place. It's a week later, the car drives and sounds great. Can't recommend them highly enough!!
