Providing third party renters insurance will still get you charged $14.50 for their recommended renters insurance. Will have to go in each month to get the credit back for the following month. No matter how many times they tell you , it'll get fixed next month. It's still the same issue. I would've left a 4 star review, but the customer service has been EXTREMELY limited and disappointing since moving in. The units are beautiful, same with the property. Good luck getting resolution on any office matters at all, let alone in a timely matter. Zero response from Avenue 5 corporate office as well. The onsite management team is stuck up, doesn't listen to concerns and is more interested in ignoring residents than helping. The maintenance team is the only good thing about this place. We've had countless electrical and plumbing issues. Not to mention, they claimed the units would drown out external noises but they don't. You can hear everything going on outside. If there was a negative rating, it would be too good for them. read more

Honestly, this place is run extremely poorly. The entire time I was li big in these apartments, there were only 2 administrative people for hundreds of residents. These apartments are honestly overpriced and not really worth it. The rooms are very small and overall not ideal for more than two people living in even a 3 bed 2 bath. Also, they NEVER gave my roommates and I a renewal notice when our lease was ending so we moved out before the end of our lease and they got mad at US for not telling them we were moving out! When they never even gave us an option to renew our lease!! After we moved out, leaving the apartment spotless, they charged us $500 for cleaning!! Even though people were moved in literally DAYS after we moved out. These people are ridiculous and just want your money and will never help you with anything, but instead just get mad that you asked them to do their job. Do not live here. read more

I have lived here a little over 2 years. The office staff and maintenance have been very efficient, helpful, friendly and quick to repair any problems within my apt. Every time I have contacted the office staff they are very nice and quick to respond to concerns and answer questions appropriately. I have been very happy living here and have no complaints. Plus they allow pets. read more

We have lived here for 2 1/2 years. I love the interior. The heat/air system is different and the windows have some air coming in. We have-not had any problems with the management or maintenance. read more

‼‼ DEAR ALL... DO NOT.. I REPEAT DO NOT RENT FROM ANY OF THE AVENUE 5 PROPERTIES ‼‼ I lived at the Redpoint in Redmond, Oregon. If they had a negative star chart I'd rate them -20. If you want to pay extremely high rent & utility bills a month like $45+ in trash that MIGHT NOT be all ours and when it says reimbursed I don't think that's true or else rent and utilities wouldn't be so high on our accounts, then by all means move in. Not to mention how greedy, unprofessional, corrupt and insensitive the Avenue 5 Management is here. Plus you have to be making 3.5x the rent just to rent these places which is outrageous and not even doctors make that much. These apartments are so cheaply made that when you turn on certain appliances at the same time it trips the breakers and by the way these apartments are not sound proof at all. You can hear the neighborhood kids with their loud cars going by and revving, you can hear people yelling, babies crying, dogs barking, sounds not made for children's ears. Also it takes the management here DAYSSSSS to respond to your emails or phone calls. Like I said before..INSENSITIVE does not begin to define these people. Before I moved into the Redpoint apartments I was homeless for three years with my family and yes they let me rent here but because of family reasons DHS got involved and I was behind two months on my rent because they took my attention away and Ave 5 decided to send me to court with an eviction notice. Now mind you the 10 day late notice said if you need rental assistance to contact neighbor impact, I mean it says that right in the freakin paper!!!! Well I did that and also explained what was going on and they REFUSED and REFUSED to take $6,000 in hand $4,000 being givin by neighbor impact and $2,050 by a cashiers check from me and my roommates. If you have medical issues as well like epilepsy or autism and you have a state of Oregon card that allows you to use medical marijuana.. then your fucked because they will not allow you to which is against the fair housing laws which require landlords to accommodate people with disabilities, and, in order to accommodate tenants with disabilities, landlords sometimes have to make exceptions to their rules. SO DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND YOUR WALLET.
