If you are looking for quality furniture at reasonable prices this is great place to shop! Small shop but has a lot of quality items and a great assortment for all styles read more

Overpriced thrift store with not super helpful service. I am not in a rush to go back. I would rather pay new prices for new furniture than these prices for hand me downs. read more

Redo is my go-to spot for inspiration and high quality pieces. We have a marble tv console, a leather bench, a rattan headboard, multiple mirrors, and a few throw pillows all from our beloved Redo. Do they sell expensive items? Yes. Do we find something every time we go? No. Will we keep coming back for more? Absolutely. read more

I was very excited about this store when we stopped to look in the windows when the store was closed. Arriving in my old Ford pickup versus my Audi S4 because the pickup has hauling capacity, we were met with a scowl from a blonde woman wearing glasses standing at the front door. Her facial expression was a mix of surprise and disappointment as if we weren't the type of people who she pictured shopping in her store. We entered the store excitedly and were met with zero greeting from blondie nor the woman behind the register which was disappointing considering the prices of the furniture. If you're a consignment store selling $4000 USED sofas, you better greet every customer with a smile because you need to convince us we should spend $4k on a USED piece of furniture. Even if it was new, you still need to develop a relationship with your customer to convince them they not only NEED to spend $4k on a sofa but they NEED to spend more at your store. I received 100x better service at SC41 for a $2500 brand new custom sofa than I did at REDO for a USED $4k sofa. I do not recommend visiting here unless you like to give money to businesses that think they are better than you are. read more

Nice selection with but with full retail prices. I am NOT paying $4,000 for someone's old couch. I can buy a new one for much less fully customized. read more

My favorite place to shop for furniture and accessories in the Santa Cruz area! The items change quickly so I go back frequently. The prices are amazing and the quality outstanding! Robin has a talented eye and a kind heart. This is a must visit when you live in the area or even passing through. read more

I was very disappointed to see that Redo's showroom now contains predominantly new, bulky, trendy furniture and decor. There were only a few remnant pieces of vintage furniture and artwork in the back of the store. read more

My favorite consignment store in Santa Cruz. Beautiful pieces; staff - fantastic. Knowledgeable; friendly. A most if you're looking for unique pieces for your home. A hidden treasure! read more

It was great for a while, but I am no longer a fan. The store looks really jumbled and junky these days. The last lot of items I consigned with them was not featured at all -- just jammed into corners, really -- and did not sell well. One of the unsold items was badly damaged while in the shop (when you consign an item, you sign a release absolving them of any responsibility for damage while an item is in their care). Not selling here again. read more

Really cool collection. Just looking around you will be inspired. Come with an open mind and some measurements and you'll find some gems. The owners are wonderful people who let you take things home to see how they look before purchasing... pretty sweet! read more

I miss coming to this place so much since I left Capitola! I bought tons of furniture, ceramics and art here. My favorite purchase was one of the metalwork pieces from Haiti. I bought the mermaid and I love her so much! Can't wait to move back so I can shop here again! read more

My husband and I found two beautiful terra cotta pots from Italy and they now look beautiful in our home!

I haunt this place whenever I have a specific need for a piece of furniture - because I know I will find it here. It is really fun to shop here because the pieces are interesting, eclectic and ever-changing. Great to have this family-owned resource. read more

Nice selection; I always find many things I like but never purchase. The prices are way too high for used furniture. I have been here at least 10x and the prices are always high. My husband has tried to negotiate on the price but they were unwilling. Better prices at Homegoods for new furniture! read more

Great place for $70 throw pillows. Nice selection and great style, priced in a Galaxy all it's own.

Redo Consign and redesign is the real thing. It is not full of new furniture masquerading as unique or junk. The owner is meticulous and fussy about what she picks and resells. She has a good eye for quality and style and will help you find what you need, She has helped me furnish my veterinary clinic for a song and I have hired her as a color and style consultant. This store is a great addition to Santa Cruz and I hope she does well. read more

My new favorite place to shop! Robin does a fantastic job with taking in quality goods! You won't leave disappointed or empty handed!

Absolutely amazing selection of second hand and antique furniture! Priced appropriately for the condition, quality, and also the fact that this store really only displays the best items. Great for people who enjoy rustic furniture, mid century modern, and antiques. Lots of beautiful wood pieces, such as coffee tables, night stands, dressers, tables, consoles, armoires, etc. They have some cute sofas too, but they are expensive as they are amazing quality and often newly reupholstered. So I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for wooden or solid, non-sofa furniture, or for anyone with a higher budget looking for a beautiful, unique sofa. read more

F a b u l o u s! I was driving by Commercial Way (across from Marshalls) & noticed Redo Consign & Redesign Shop had moved from Scotts Valley. I pulled in immediately to see the new Store. I must say it was Huge & Packed with every style of Home Decor' imaginable. I'm so thrilled to have Scored on a few items that you couldn't find anywhere else locally. I've shopped at Robin's Redo Consignment Store for years but was so excited that she's moved into this Wonderful new space. It really showcases all of her Furnishings & Home Accessories. Robin goes the extra mile for her customers as she allowed me to take home my items for a trial run. Of course I Loved every one of them. You can bet I'll return to see what new Rare Finds I can buy on my next visit. Thanks Robin! read more

Well staged expensive hand me downs. Came with a friend who was seeking a sofa, but no luck with scoring anything even remotely reasonable.

I was chagrined to hear that yelp had pulled many of the good reviews for this delightful shop due to the fact that they were just too glowing. The fact is, this store does merit 5 stars & rave reviews because it is a real find! Well presented, desirable stock, reasonable prices, and a very friendly & helpful owner - what more could you ask for? We were thrilled to find this place while out from NY - got a great piece with which we are pleased as punch. The owner helped with arranging shipping services. Wish we lived closer so we could stop in more often! read more

Not sure why a few reviewers think Redo has overpriced items! I found a queen headboard for $100 and a really cool wood chest of drawers for $200. The owner is very careful to consign only items that are in extremely good condition. And the pieces in the store are so different from what I can find at stores selling new furniture. I have been in the store several times and it appears new items pop up continually. The owner is delightful, too! read more

Redo is a nice store with good inventory. Lots of really unique pieces and one can redesign a room with out breaking the bank.

So surprised to read the comment from L.B. I have sold many items through REDO and have had very positive experience. I have had items sell within the time frame and received my portion of the sale. I have also had items not sell and have honored my agreement and picked them up. Let's remember, this is a consignment store, not a storage facility. Yes, you should always read your contract. The owner is very fair and most often will continue to try to sell items for her customers past the 90 days. I guess I would be curious as to how long L.B. left her items at the store uncollected. read more

Robin and her staff helped me sell a somewhat challenging vintage mirror that I wasn't able to sell myself. They got me a very satisfactory price and made the process super easy. The showroom is full of beautiful furniture and accessories. If you have anything along those lines that is high quality you wish to sell, give Robin a call. You will be very happy with her! read more

Redo is a fun store because the inventory is constantly changing. I love that I can always find a unique piece. The owner has an excellent eye and incorporates distinctive items with fun treasures. I have found a lot of designer high-end pieces and accessories at Redo! read more

If you haven't checked out Redo's new location, you're missing out. Its much bigger than their previous location with a lot more stuff to choose from. There's always a great variety of furniture and accessories from all over the world and some really cool mid-century and antique stuff too. I drop by every time I get to town to see what new things they have in that week. Their inventory changes frequently. They have things you just can't find at a show room, design show or in a magazine. It takes a special kind of buyer to run around and really hunt down the unique and extraordinary items. I think this shop has the knack. read more

The store is a delight, with a good turnover in inventory keeping you coming back. I've bought and sold on consignment for years in both SoCal and NorCal for Showhomes, and have never known an owner as honest and easy to do business with as Robin. read more
