Melissa Schlenker, who I believe is the Head Pharmacist, does such an outstanding job of going the extra mile for each and every customer. She has the patience of a saint and is outstanding in every way. Her assistant, Kelly, is excellent as well. She knows her job and does it so well. I am thankful for such great people at our Hamburg Weis Pharmacy. I will conlude by saying that Amy Breidigan, Front Desk Manager is just wonderful. Always helpful and with a smile on her face. These 3 gals are at the top of anyone's list. Professionalism at Its Finest!!!

TARGETS ADULTS with SPECIAL NEEDS- Telling Them to Vacate the Seats…read moreI've bought lunch and ate in the seating area at Wegman's several times. I am a support staff for adults with intellectual disabilities or autism. Sometimes when I am supporting an adult with special needs, we would buy lunch at Wegman's and eat there. Afterwards, we would play a couple games before leaving. I didn't see the harm it. We see many groups meet there to play Mahjong or Dominoes. There are people there working on laptops. I've seen people crocheting there. They have a television for children to be able to sit and watch. Since there are always plenty of empty seats, I thought it was acceptable. And maybe THAT is, but Wegman's seems to have a REAL PROBLEM with adults with special needs. Small groups of staff helping adults with intellectual disabilities have been asked to leave while others are there doing a variety of activities other than eating. The excuse given: "We want you to leave after you eat." When the support staff who was approached questioned why they were singled out, that Wegman's staff person went to the other small group of individuals with special needs and told them to leave-- totally ignoring others around who were doing things other than eating. This is not the only time small groups of disabled individuals were asked to leave. Yet, I always see others, even large groups meeting there to play games, and I've never seen any Wegman's employee ask any of those groups leave. I've never seen a Wegman's staff ask people on laptops to leave. This definitely looks like discrimination against people with disabilities.

Bb's Grocery Outlet in Schaeferstown PA is a discounted supermarket. The store offers home goods,…read morehealth and beauty, dairy, frozen products, fresh produce and so much more. One aspect of Bb's I love is that you are getting name brand items like Weight Watchers and Gatorade for half the price. For example, the last time I went to Bb's I bought two boxes of Weight Watchers protein bars for two for a dollar, that's a steal. In addition, the store has a walk in fridge and freezer that offers a variety of products. They offer not only sliced cheese and deli meat but the whole block/roll for a decent price. Furthermore, Bb's has a wide selection of vitamins that include gummies and pills. They offer vitamins for every age group at half the price than the average supermarket.        One insider tip I would recommend to anyone going to Bb's is to make sure you look at the expiration date, because sometimes the items could be expired, but other than that Bb's is an amazing store. In addition, I would recommend spending at least one hour at the store so that you are able to look through all of the products that Bb's offer because it's a lot.        Also, when checking out you can either bag your groceries in plastic or they offer boxes for you to use. All of the workers are very sweet and polite and they also keep the store very clean.        To sum it all up, if you are looking or want to try something new you should definitely go to Bb's Grocery Outlet, because you will not be disappointed with all of the good items you receive. I will definitely be coming back to Bb's when I am in the area again.
