HI BEN did a great job he came in and started working on my furnace for about 1/2 hour before he came up and told me what was going on so he gave me the news and I told him that I needed the furnace to run because we have my wife's mother living with us and she is 90 so I couldn't be without heat very long but when he gave me the explanation of the bill wich a fuse that could cost about 12$ for 3 of them at Lowe's but cost me 176.00 $ for the fuse I was mildly surprised but bottom line he got the furnace fixed and that was good now I don't blame Ben for the cost of the fuse it is the cost that you the company charged so Ben good job read more

Great experience. They are super responsive, ineligible, and maintain a clean worksite.

Do not use this company. They sell faulty equipment, and upcharge you to fix it. They installed a Bryant ductless split unit system in 2021, and it's broken twice.These units are advertised to last between 12-15 years. They are telling me it is not covered under warranty, because I did not "maintain" the unit. They said this without even looking at it. Their definition of "maintain" is hiring them once-twice a year to come in and inspect the unit. So to qualify for your warranty, you essentially need to sign up for a subscription service. I've cleaned the filters twice a year as directed. I asked Cathy Redmon to email me the warranty information of the unit so I could verify this. She said they didn't have records back that far, and that I should have the warranty in the notebook I was given at install. I looked, and it is not in there. read more

Redmonds came and got the installation done in one day. They did a good job and cleaned up after themselves.

Was quoted $139 to fix heat pump not powering up. Took 2 minutes to see clogged drain pipe and remove clog. He then said we were past the $139 service fee quoted on the phone and to sop up some water in the tray and check tube going out to spouting we were looking at $189. I wasn't comfortable putting the overflow switch back in place or I could have done it myself. Well when it was done he said it was $319. He added the 139 and $189 together!! Paid $169 for them to reset the system and say everything was great, only to pay $279 the next day for a more "advanced" diagnostic check before they figured out what was needed to repair my furnace. Now I'm paying an additional $750 on top of it all. Buyer beware. read more

I just want to say thank you to Redmond's for helping us out. Apparently, when our house was built in 2009, the builder chose the HVAC installer. I'm not even sure who that was, but in 2020, our furnace died, and we decided to go with Redmond's to replace everything (furnace and heat pump). Everything was great until we got to this horribly hot weather. The brand new heat pump would actually get ice on the outside of it and the A/C quit working. Redmond's was there for us right away, thankfully. After hours of trying to figure out what was wrong, they found out that our initial installation was not done correctly (ductwork, etc. - heat and air were coming out of cold air return vents for YEARS). Long story short, when they replaced our old, outdated, too small heat pump, the larger, more powerful heat pump showed us that our duct work, etc., was poorly and incorrectly installed. ????? Wow! We've been living like that for 12 years wondering why nothing worked effectively in summer and winter. Thank you, Redmond's!! MUCH appreciated! read more

Redmond's was recommended to us by a friend. Our Central Air Unit quit working in this HOT weather. They were able to come to our residents the same day. Only to find out that it was the fan and it would need to be replaced. They called for the part and found it was covered under warranty and would not be in for a couple days. Thank goodness we had access to a window air conditioner. The Tech that came was very nice and friendly and wasn't sure what was wrong with the unit since it was an older one and called in help to find out the problem. The ladies in the office are very friendly and helpful when I called. They came today to replace the fan and clean the unit. They called before they arrived and was very prompt. Very poor. Had them come out to check my new ductless system, told me I needed a new compressor. called the dair conditioner company, fixed in 10 minutes. I asked Redmonds twice to call me about their bill. Nobody called, but just got a call to pay my bill. Very dissatisfied. read more

Our Mendota freestanding gas stove was not working. We contacted Pennwood, from whom we bought the stove, and they could not send a technician for 6 weeks!! I have had many HVAC companies service my equipment over the years. I have dealt with incorrect wiring, cracked AC condensate pan, and other problems. I have not felt comfortable with any company since I had my ac unit installed 17yrs. ago. Two years ago I was told my furnace was shot. Without asking I was handed an estimate for a whole new state of the art system that would take care of all of my needs. I didn't bite. Two years later I have Redmonds come in for AC servicing. The technician found many problems . He straightened everything out for about half what I expected to pay. This included normal servicing and fixing other company's screw ups. More importantly, he looked at my Thermal Pride furnace and explained that he doubts it was shot. We scheduled an appointment for the end of summer inspection. This took place today. He fixed what needed fixed, cleaned what needed cleaned and replaced... well you know. He explained every detail and task he was going to do. He explained replacement parts and what I could expect when cold weather set in. He was here a long time and he made every piece function properly again. The price was very reasonable, and I dont have to fork out money now for a new system. I received itemized, detailed bill and I was offered a brochure on their yearly plan to keep everything running smoothly. There was not a pressured sales pitch. I plan to sign up. This will take care of my "forgetfulness." In conclusion, I must say Redmonds HCC has another regular client. Thanks again, Justin. read more
