Well after 1 week it started to wash away. Now it's been about a month and weeds are growing through it and almost all the sealant is gone. He won't return my phone calls after stating he would come back out and re-seal the crappy job he did in the first place.

After several years, I got up the nerve to look up contractors who were willing to finish it for us. I'm so thankful to have found Eric and his company, Salazar Masonry Service. Eric was very responsive from the get go. He was thorough in explaining the process and what was needed to complete the job...and then some! Eric's communication was awesome from the first time I reached out. He was professional, friendly, and professional. He let me know the morning of when he was on his way and progress getting here (his commute was 90 minutes away). I got a quote for material and he offered to call and get a better price and then I called in to pay for it. What a kind gesture! He and his crew were timely and efficient. Eric explained the process and showed us what he was going to do. When he ran out of material, he got more and when he charged us for the material and trip, he didn't price gouge. He showed us the receipt for the additional materials and that is what we paid. We couldn't be more happy with job and Eric's professionalism. I was pleased with the final product and would recommend them to others looking for a contractor. The thing that stands out the most to me is their value. Their quote was very reasonable, and for the most part, everything went as planned and stayed on time. At the least, call them and see what they have to say.

When Skip replaced my front concrete porch he added some type of colorant which wound up drying to…read morean uneven mess. There was also an area by the front door that was an uneven concrete mess with big gaps between the brick and concrete. He came out to attempt to fix these issues . He advised me that I should just have the concrete painted to cover up the uneven color, which will result in more money out of pocket for me, to cover up shoddy work He claims he "fixed" the uneven area by the door. It now looks worse, with different color, texture and a raised area. I have had painters in to look at painting the concrete. They have expressed concern that the "fix" in the front will likely look worse when painted, much like a big drywall patch would look if not smoothed and sanded. I reached out to Skip about trying to rectify this problem area and he just said "Sorry". Claims he did all could do. I'm now stuck with additional expenditures to attempt to correct a giant eyesore in the middle of my entry
