This means that there is no room for wheelchairs or accommodations for anyone who is differently-abled to get into the restaurant. The whole restaurant makes no room for handicapped persons. On the occasion I did get food, the food is slightly overpriced. All meats were cooked adequately but the food was lukewarm probably owing to sitting in the kitchen under the heat lamp than being delivered promptly. When I have gone, I regularly have to ask for refills on soda as I am the designated driver often for department functions. Servers pay you no heed if you do not buy alcohol. Because I go here because of academic reasons, I would barely go here myself. I've been here many times and found it wanting. It's an ableist place in its infrastructure. It's fine I'm atmosphere as a cocktail bar but would little recommend it to people I call friend.

Owned and operated by a Vietnamese family, they are sweet to most folks but take zero ish from anyone. When things get a little hairy in these parts, they're the first to put their foot down. (#1) The menu is pretty simple: shrimp, crawfish, crabs, available in a seasoned boil or fresh (aka live). Shrimp is a premium and not always available, but the crawfish is dynamite. Wherever they're sourcing them is clearly local, since the crawdads are nice and large and well seasoned throughout. I appreciate the corn, potatoes, and eggs that thrown into the mix. They also offer meat like boudin and/or boiled sausage as well as obscure parts like turkey necks, pig feet, etc. Their food is always excellent. The prices are quite good and they're usually a few dollars off from more popular vendors. They accept credit cards ($10 minimum) but prefer cash. There are a lot of signs regarding food stamps, which is only acceptable for certain items but not for boiled meat. Ya'll the receipt clearly says, "HOT CRABS." Did she not realize the infraction she admitted! She basically confirmed they commit food violations, not keeping food at proper temperature!!
