I took a Glock 17 slide with a stripped screw in an rmr to these guys thinking it'd be a simple fix for their gunsmith. They invoiced a half hour of work with the caveat it may take an hour. I was slightly put off by this thinking it couldn't take more than a few minutes. But ultimately I was prepared to pay with the idea that a gunsmith could complete the task without damaging or marring my optic. I dropped it off on a Friday and they said they'd have it ready by Saturday or Tuesday of the following week. Saturday came and went, Tuesday came and went and ultimately I called them on Wednesday. I was told they didn't have the tooling to complete the job and they would need to order the tools to complete it. Later that Wednesday, I received a call from their gunsmith Nick who said he was going to have a buddy help him out so he could have it to me sooner rather than later to which I expressed my gratitude. I showed up to pick it up the following Thursday afternoon. I opened the case and my optic was covered in tape and the guy at the front desk said they'd be charging me for 2 half hour increments of work at $35 per increment. He said that it totaled $90 so I asked if the 2 increments at $35 equaled $70. He said, "yeah $70." I unwrapped the optic and it was operational but marred up more than I would have expected. The guy at the front said he had to take a dremel tool to it. It was obvious the tool had slipped a few times gashing the body of the optic. This kind of work is what I would expect if I had undertaken the job myself but not what I expected from a professional hence the reason I opted to pay someone else for the service. After that I said one thing to the guy at the front desk as respectfully as I could. "Is the price negotiable considering the damage?" The guy immediately threw the invoice on the table, said "just take it" with anger, and walked into the back. I closed everything up and left. When I got home I told my wife and even expressed if they had called me and said, " hey man this thing was a disaster and we put some gashes in the body of the optic but its operational and we got the screw out so even though we were gonna charge you for an hour worth of work we'll charge you for a half hour or give you a discount." I would've been totally understanding. However this was not the case... I can't speak for their other work or services but that was my first and last experience with this business. I have used these guys for custom holsters and for cerakoting a few of my guns. I was very impressed! The cerakoting looked better than the factory finishes! Couldn't ask for better work. One of the guys even stayed after close a few minutes to finish up my holster. My next project will be Snow Camo on one of my bows. I am confident they will do a job I can be proud of!!! I took my pistol here to have it cerakoted and stippled. They did a great job! It was a custom job with the Marine Corps eagle, globe and anchor on one side and Semper Fi on the other side. They also made a custom holster for me with the Marine Corps emblem on it. I have taken a couple of shooting classes with Gator and he is a great instructor. He made the classes fun while honing my skills. He and his crew are very safety concious. I look forward to taking more classes with him. read more

Ordered a holster for my sig 226 they said it would take 2 weeks to show up it took 3 and a half weeks was constantly told it was shipped on different dates. When the holster finally showed up my gun was stuck in it for ten minutes it took my vice on one end to finally get it out and the loop snaps would not go together without a pair of pliers took some adjusting to fix finally got it broke in now it working great. Make sure you allow some time for break in. read more

These guys promised a relatively simple gun-smithing service with a 2 week turnaround. 4 weeks later, they returned the rifle assembled incorrectly and in an unsafe manner and without half of the service performed. They literally gave a bag of parts back with the rifle and then had the balls to demand a full payment. There are many options for gun stores in Colorado Springs. These guys are friendly fair priced and make great products. I went in to get an IWB holster for my glock 43, I picked one out that I liked but it was a little too tight for my gun. They took the holster and fit it to my gun on the spot. In and out in less than 5 minutes with a great product I would recommend this place to anyone. read more

The first excuse you will get when they do not complete your request will be "I told you we were back logged" when they never mentioned that because you gave them just under a month to complete a simple modification on a rifle. Something that could have very easily been cleared up with a simple phone call or request for help on finding the part. Instead they will leave you in the dark and make it out to be your fault when they can not complete the work. Then of course after you give them a bad review on their Facebook page they will insult you by saying "I am sorry he did not give you a safe place for your feelings" when all you did was ask for the reason the work was not complete. Yea if you want quality work for your money I would not recommend these guys. When they can not complete the work it is either we told you were back logged or some other covenant excuse. IN any case I refer to my previous statement. If you want quality work, I would suggest another location and as I mentioned in my Facebook comment. A drive all the way to Denver to get the same work done will save you a lot of heart ache. read more

Could not get any better! I have bought and had holsters made from several other companies and none could compare to the quality that Redleg does.
