Hello, on 7//19/2026 at around 1:50pm, I went for an all you can eat salad at the Fowl Play…read more Nothing seemed any different than usual except there was new waitress I'd never encountered before. She was young, with dark hair and wore her hat backward. She seemed nice enough right off, but then a few minutes later, she was having a conversation with another employee and the f bomb was flying everywhere. She said to the other that she was doing something but didn't want to f with the other. If this had been taking place in the bar area that would be more understandable as it is more an adult atmosphere, but this was in the dining area where families frequent. A few minutes went by and then a gentleman cam in and sat behind me with a young boy of about 9 or 10 years old. The f bombs and other swear words just kept coming with loud boisterous talking across the room as they were vacuuming and sweeping. All while everyone was trying to eat a peaceful meal. I don't think this is the kind of place I want to frequent anymore, nor my friends who mostly have kids. I was eating there at least once a week but now I think I'm done. Employees acting like that in front of paying guests is a real good way to lose business in this town. I know they've lost this one, and probably a few more, and a few more from them, and a few more from them...

Tender meat. It reminds me of the Japanese pork katsu but much more tender than katsu. The sandwich had multi layers of flavors that worked really well together from the sweet sour taste of the chopped red onions and pickles, the mayo, and the special mustard. I usually do not like mustard on sandwiches but this Cuban mustard was really good with the sandwich. Mustard had a taste of Dijon but with, I think, some hint of garlic. The toasted sesame seed bun was a little dry as it crumbled a bit. Got the coleslaw as side. Coleslaw was like having a brussel sprouts salad with vinaigrette dressing instead of the usual cabbage and mayo based dressing. I like how it's different from the regular coleslaw. The thinly shredded l brussel sprouts were very crunchy and fresh. Also had some carrots, cabbage and onions. The vinaigrette had a good ratio of sweet and sour tart flavor. The Carne Asada Tacos had really good quality beefy buttery tasting meat. Very tasty. Could have been better if not burnt on one side. Because it's over cooked the texture was a little tough. Had to wrestle a bite. Citrusy flavor. Pickled onions added a little sweet vinegar taste. Didn't take the burnt meat into account with the rating. Nice relaxed atmosphere. They had a full bar. Nice staff. Didn't take the burnt meat into account; would have rated 3.5 if including the burnt prep. The location is within a residential area on a country gravel road off the highway.
