Welp this is extremely concerning. I was at the park with a friend and noticed the van park and two workers take out 4 dogs. Two dogs were then placed back inside the van in a crate and two were taken out on a walk. It is 74 degrees out, but the van was left in the sun and we all know that cars get hotter inside. The workers left the door open, but that does not change the fact that the van was left in the sun with unattended dogs. Please do not use this service, this does not appear to be safe for the animals left unattended

Oh boy, when you have some bad dogs, Tim is the go-to-guy. Okay, here goes ... I have bad dogs. (Yes, first step is recognizing you have a problem.) My Chihuahua has serious aggression problems. (He hates everyone but me.) My other dog wants to bum rush any other dog that he sees. Training wasn't an option for me--it was necessary. (Serious note: Dog owners do have a responsibility to make sure that their dogs are safe around other people.) I had 8 private lessons with him a few years ago, and I'll have a referesher lesson every now and then. Also, he has a pack walk through downtown Belmont Shore every week and a dog social every week (like a dog park but a trainer is there to prevent dog fights). Fast-forward a few years, I have excellent dogs. The Chihuahua still has his moments, but I know how to correct the behavior efficiently now. My mutt is a star. Both dogs know how to heel, sit, stay, come, etc. My mutt even knows German! I can walk him off-leash, and when I tell him to "foos" (heel), he does it perfectly. The training can be pricy (considering that I have two dogs), but it's worth it if you want your dogs around the public. Also, the correction has a lot to do about timing. You have to correct the behavior at the right moment so that the dog gets it. Pinch and e-collars may be used, but don't freak out and go forming a picket line. Talk to him (or ask me) as to why these tools MAY be necessary on some dogs. Happy dogs= happy owners!

Best.Trainers.Ever. Seriously. This small business knows their stuff. No fluffy treat laden training here. These folks are the real deal. I have a Pit Husky mix, female, that I brought to them after trying out 3 other trainers. Mae Belle is stubborn, pushy, busy, sweet, smart, and thinks she's the hall monitor. Tim and Anna came to my home with one of Anna's Mallinois and spent almost 2 hours assessing my girl. Mae Belle spent 3 weeks at in-kennel training and came home a completely different dog. That was 2 years ago and she's still going strong. I get many compliments on her obedience as I take her almost everywhere (she is my service dog) and folks are impressed with her good manners and low key temperament. When I am unable to take her with me, I board her with RDT and she loves spending time there. She's well taken care of and it shows when I pick her up after being away. It's a relief to know that she's loved, socialized and gets a little "tune up" time while she's with them. I cannot day enough about the quality training that this small group of trainers perform. It's apparent that RDT trainers (Roxanne is Mae Belle's special friend) are serious about the work they do and it's equally clear that they are passionate in treating each dog individually according to that dog's personality, challenges, strengths and abilities. If you're looking for training worth your dollars, training that is life changing for you and your dog, training that sticks with your own participation and learning process as well, this is the place and these are the people to do that with. You won't regret it. Thank you RDT, I'm so thankful to each of you.

If I could leave a 10 star review I would! Tim is hands down the most knowledgeable and consistent trainer I have met. He is a genius with dogs. I am lucky to have had him to train my malinois to be my perfect protector and also an amazing family dog.

Tim training our German Shepherd. There's no one else I trust with our small or big dogs except for Tim! Thanks so much Tim!

My boyfriend and I took in our cattle dog, Ollie, as a stray almost 4 months ago. Quick background: Ollie was found tied to a fire hydrant outside my work. Ollie is the sweetest boy, however is very reactive to other dogs and is a bundle of energy that presents as endless jumping and nipping. We have a senior Saint Bernard at home in which Ollie has been too rough/aggressive with her, even when our Saint Bernard makes it known that she doesn't want to be bothered. We tried water sprays at home and other attempts at training to no avail. We began to feel helpless as our biggest concern was his relationship with our Saint Bernard, as it got to the point where we felt we had to consider rehoming him. During our session with Brad, we immediately saw results which had us dumbfounded. Like other reviews have mentioned, his technique is not "mean," but is a firm mindset that Ollie requires. All the while, Brad emphasizes when to correct your dog and when to praise him, while stressing the fact that these techniques are not made to scare your dog, but rather establish a leader mentality while simultaneously letting the dog know that you provide love and safety. Of course, like any training, one can only be successful when carrying over these learned techniques at home, but Brad left us feeling confident and ready to continue the work. Even when we got home today, we already had seen a shift from Ollie. As for Brad himself - he is very approachable and really looks to understand both the dog and all the circumstances that come with them. You could really get a sense of how personal he is. We definitely recommend him. Thank you so much, Brad!

She was attacked by a much smaller dog ever since she goes crazy whenever we see another dog. I found a, "Highly Recommended" Dog trainer online according his website. After 3 sessions with him, his advice was to punch my dog in the face and head until she worried more about me than other dogs. As you can imagine that did not work and we stopped going. I started calling around to other trainers I found online but nobody wanted to work with such a big aggressive dog. One trainer referred me to Tony. After talking with Tony and watching his webinar he referred us to Xavier who from the first 15 minutes had my dog sitting down calmly and accepting directions. I can't speak highly enough for how professional results oriented both Tony and Xavier have been. We were considering returning her back to the breeder before meeting Tony and Xavier. Thank you both so very much!

We couldn't be happier with our experience working with Yasmeen at Zenni Dogs!…read more My husband and I are first-time dog owners with a happy, energetic black lab. When we started looking for a trainer, we received two separate referrals for Yasmeen -- and we quickly understood why. At about seven months old, our pup had unfortunately been bitten by another dog, and we wanted help reintroducing him to social settings with both people and other dogs. We also wanted to learn tools and techniques to feel more confident managing him both inside and outside our home. From day one, Yasmeen was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping our dog (and us!) succeed. She took the time to understand his personality and tailored her training approach perfectly -- we started seeing improvement after just the second session. Her positive, effective methods made training fun and engaging for our whole family. She also shared practical tips we could easily use every day, which made a huge difference in reinforcing progress at home. Thanks to Yasmeen, we now feel so much more confident with our dog and better understand his needs and reactions in different situations. We're so grateful we decided to work with her -- highly recommend to anyone looking for a skilled, compassionate, and professional trainer who truly earns the trust and respect of both her clients and their dogs.

I never thought in a million years our dog would be able to walk next to another dog, but it happened. I really enjoyed the hands on training we got from Yasmeen and how she aims to help not only the dog, but the owner as well. The practice and consistency really helped with each training session and I have definitely seen a massive improvement in our dog. I look forward to continue training with Yasmeen and learning each time. Consistency is key!
