There is a lot of opportunity at this church for men, women, and children. There are three services; 8:00, 9:30 and 11:30. This church is growing quickly and is currently building a new sanctuary. Heck, it's even their church motto, "no perfect people allowed". I'm personally drawn to sermons that pair Scripture with practical, everyday applications and personal stories, and their pastors deliver every single time. Though we started at the South campus location, we've been branching out to the other locations to switch things up. We've seen Carlos (senior pastor of Gateway) and the North campus several times on screen, but unfortunately never in person, so we decided to take a little road trip. Campus size, HUGE. Production, HUGE. Number of churchgoers, you can guess what my answer is. While we were unable to catch Carlos this time, we had the pleasure of Justin, executive pastor preaching to us instead. We're looking forward to our next trip!

People all over sitting on the floor in the lobby. We've known about rain for weeks so this church should have prepared for it. I think the most disappointing thing is they didn't have the volume up in the lobby so you can hear the seminar inside. Even the bathroom speakers were on low. Inside the chairs were too close together (although very comfortable)... I'd prefer stadium seating with a cup holder. I personally didn't care for the evangelical style of this conference. I won't be attending this anymore.

When we were looking for a new church home, we decided on City Reach Church. We've both grown up in…read moreChristian families and were in a season of life where we were looking to be spiritually challenged. Thankfully, a good friend of ours recommended City Reach; and after checking out the church over a couple of Sundays, we made our choice. We enjoyed and continue to be delighted by the friendliness of the church member community here. The parking team does a wonderful job each Sunday to make sure we find a parking spot, and they have a shuttle that brings us to the entrance. Drip coffee and hot tea are provided if you'd like to enjoy a hot beverage while worshipping and listening to the sermon. The worship teams are truly in the spirit and sing in the name of Jesus. The worship sets are powerful and we can feel the Holy Spirit moving within us, and we see how others around us have been impacted as well. The pastor is unapologetic in preaching what is written in the Bible. He doesn't add fluff but stays true to the Word. His expository style is appreciated as he highlights the main ideas while calling out key points. They also have a children's program, from infants through high school. Their new campus is beautiful and has several parking lots to choose from. There is also overflow parking available with a shuttle provided. City Reach Church isn't charismatic nor is it traditional (we've been to both kinds in the past), it's actually fun and we look forward to going each Sunday! The style here is unique, though it's not necessarily for everyone. If you're curious to learn what a relationship with Jesus looks like, are new in your walk with Jesus, or if you're looking for a new church home, we highly recommend giving City Reach a try!

I have recently found Christ again after many decades of indifference. I was never a non believer…read morebut rather a passive Christian. Due to the state of the world, I decided to start going to church and formally introduce my children to God. I can not express the love and happiness I feel when I enter that auditorium and hear the music and see the people all praying and singing in unison. My heart vibrates on a different level and I truly feel so close to God and Jesus. I have been attending Sunday sermon and I actually look forward to going to church again. I am a better person to myself and to others for the renewed love I have for God and people. This kind of love I never felt in my Catholic school and church. The message is dynamic and based off the bible, but easily applies to everyday life. My children have attended the kid's church and last week went into the adult section and they absolutely loved it and accepted Jesus as their Lord and savior without hesitation. What an amazing feeling I had as a parent to witness this. City Reach Church is HIGHLY recommended if you want to have a close relationship with God. What an amazing experience this far!!

Kid Con has been an unbelievable event and summer camp for my son!…read more Shoreline put on a fantastic camp that was free to all who attended. The only cost was for extended care which allowed kids to be here until 6pm. (Otherwise the camp ended at 12 noon) however the charge for 4 days of extended care was only $85... And that is for 6 hrs a day! They have had days of outdoor activities including blow up slides, petting zoo, lots of games, arts and crafts, a family night on Thursday, and so much more... plus they had worship time every day. The people and volunteers have been exceptional! The facilities are outstanding! The organization of the whole event has been flawless! What a truly wonderful experience! I am proud to call Shoreline my church... this event is just one example of the wonderful things our church does for the community. I just can't say enough about how amazing this has been... in a day an age of rip off camps that charge hundreds of $$ a week, then more for extended care, and provide no real substance, Shoreline seriously was the eye in the storm of summer camp craziness! I am so very happy we had the opportunity for my son to attend!

Of the contemporary worship services I've been at my home church (and others), this is one of the more approachable. Not too heavy on the rock and roll but not overly dirgy. I've also attended one traditional 8:00 a.m. and one traditional 11:00 a.m. service. Not being a Methodist, these services were comfortable for those used to a more structured, liturgical service and they have a choir. There's a great trio of pastors at FUMC, each of whom is passionate about delivering the message. My personal favorite is Brad but as I found out yesterday Pat can also deliver one heck of a sermon. And David is full of the fire like a great young minister. They do a lot of mission work here and there is an active youth oriented membership. If you're looking for snake handling or speaking in tongues, look elsewhere. But jf you're looking for a first or a new church home this might be a place to check out. Recommended.
