Patient visited on time even though there were other patients in the waiting room as well. I liked they had magazines health related so I could learn more about the topics they deal with. Front desk was fast and cordial as well as lovely Physician Assistant Margaret Pan, she was great informing every step before procedure. At the end, the checkout was smooth too and was able to talk to scheduling to avoid confusion to my client as they do colonoscopies in 3 different locations, and it was important to have all the details very well sorted out. I checked in and was given a clipboard with a few pages of questions to fill out. A few patients left and were called back to the exam rooms. I waited about 15 minutes to be called. Went into a room with Dr. Reddy's PA. She was great. She explained what I would expect and how to prepare for the appointment. She went through my medical history and confirmed what I filled out. Best. Doctor. Ever…read more Dr. Barmettler is the first doctor in over a decade that I feel safe/comfortable enough to make my primary care doctor. He always takes the time to thoroughly understand what's going on, to get to the root of what's causing your symptoms, and to educate you appropriately. His style of communication is warm and friendly, and he has a great sense of humor as well. I also really appreciate that he doesn't just push pills or unnecessary procedures on you, an increasingly common issue with some doctors who are looking to make a larger profit, but instead makes sure that a treatment really is in your best interests and won't cause unnecessary harm for a minimal (or no) improvement. If there are better doctors out there, I have yet to meet them. Highly recommended.

The kicker is that Barmettler's pride is hurt and he is offended that my sister asked about the COPD when she returned to the dr's office with my father after his two month stay in the ICU, acute care hospital and rehab. We are fortunate that my dad is on the mend but have been shocked at Barmettler's adversarial attitude. We will work hard to find another doctor that REALLY cares about my dad -- at least more than he does his own pride.

Anytime I have a question or feel the need for an office visit, Dr. Schlitt and his staff are always available. Waiting time in the lobby is minimal (always less than 5 minutes). The new fingerprint scan check-in kiosk makes the arrival process so easy. His staff is amazing and it is obvious they really enjoying working with Dr. Schlitt. I am always greeted with a smile and the office just seems like a pleasant place to visit. Right before I was administered anesthesia I was a little nervous. I made a comment to the anesthesiologist about something the nurse there had done to me and told her "Not to freak out." We went back on Friday afternoon to meet up with him and to discuss whatever he found. He came up with a very logical solution and offered to creatively schedule my Dad in for a procedure the following Tuesday.
