When I called for an estimate, they came out the 2nd day after calling them to take measurements and talk with us about what we wanted. One of the owners came with his project manager to take all the measurements. With another popular company you had to make an appointment and that was two weeks out. There was a one day delay due to weather. Clearly not their fault. And, we had to delay one day due to sprinkler problems. They were understanding and started again the following day. The co-owner was here everyday they were working on the project and not just to oversee it but to actually work along with his crew. They also clean up everyday when they are finished for the day and when the job was done they washed down our driveway, sidewalk, and gutters. The lady I talked to on the phone was great in communicating the work planning and kept us all updated. Covid has made estimating a project clunky. We did a video estimate. The cost turned out to be quite fair, but I was concerned about the cost before starting. After watching all the work done, I was happy. An in person estimate is really superior, if the job is not really simple, so an explanation can be given for all the labor time it will take to execute the plan.
