My fiance and I were visiting Amelia Island for the first time with our dog, and when we saw this doggy Bakery we had to stop! The store had just about everything from leashes to food. They had a bakery case with lots of fresh baked goods for your dog and even a bar with 70 different types of beer if you were into that. I bought my dog these peanut butter banana Philly cookies that he promptly inhaled and loved! The cashier was super friendly and told us where everything was and he accidentally dropped a cookie on the floor and allowed my dog to go around the counter to vacuum it for him LOL. If you're a dog lover in Amelia Island I would definitely check this place out! read more

We were in search of a specific toy that my Golden Retriever," Dixon," really loved while visiting another business. Sadly, that toy wasn't his, and you could see his disappointment when he let it go. I looked locally, and it appeared this establishment carried the brand we were looking for, and I even saw one in their store photos. Upon arriving at this particular store, we began our search only to discover it wasn't there. We did a little more looking around and found a few things that made the trip from Callahan worthwhile. Interestingly enough, we managed to locate the toy online and now have a very happy Golden. read more

What a find! We were headed down this way to grab dinner and wanted to grab a beer or two. Found them on Untappd and they had some cool beers available so decided to stop in. So glad we did! What a cool idea, bakery fresh treats for the pups and brews for the people. We were overwhelmed by the hospitality and friendliness of Marty and the regulars that we sat with. Genuinely friendly and welcoming. We both said that if we had this back home, it'd be "our spot". Keep up the good work and we appreciate you! read more

If there is a shopping heaven for a dog on earth then bring them here for a bow wow paw riffic experience. Part doggie bakery part couture collars and leashes, toys and treats OH MY! Fancy wash your dirty dog shampoos and treatments and yes they carry CBD for your furbaby. Looking for bandannas and bow ties, they have them, as well as other fun things to totally not humiliate your dog because dogs just don't care as long as we love them. They do have some people refreshments that seemed to be of the adult nature which were offered to some customers but not me???? I guess she was a frequent shopper, oh well maybe next time some Chardonnay for me...haha The array of really good for your dog foods are definitely here and the snacks are all over, prepackaged and the homemade bakery type. Today I did purchase some tooth wipes and some eye wipes as Cleo hates me brushing her teethers and paper towel and water seem a bit ruff ruff on the eye area. I was also looking for a rain coat and some booties but they do not carry either of these items. This is the perfect doggy store for the beachy doggy community. PS: They do have kitty things for that finicky feline who is probably you other furbaby! read more

Redbones is always, and I mean always, a "must go to" stop for us when visiting the area. The boys love exploring and sniffing their way around the shop. I was browsing on-line for treats for the baby and came across Redbone Dog Bakery. I absolutely fell in love with their amazing assortments and called the bakery directly to inquire about what the 1lb assorment consisted of and if I was able to customize it. I ended up speaking with Martinique whom was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. She even assisted me with figuring out their website regarding payments and responded to my emails in a timely fashion. A shipment to the STL is only an additional $5. My order was shipped and packaged so nice, tight and neat. The babies cookies weren't broken at all. I opened eached package and was soo impressed with the quaility and quantity of the assortment. I can't even describe how soft and delicate each cookie Martinique makes is. I'm dying to know what her secret is. I mean honestly, I've never seen treats, even the bones baked soo soft and delicate, which my baby needs at this time because she'll be 14 in less than a few months and has trouble breaking down hard treats. Martinique offers a unique variety of treats such as: bacon cheddar biscuits, coconut rovers, pb&jelly bones, pizza bones, strawberry shortcake cookies, ginger blossoms, key lime pie cookies, green apple& cheddar biscotti, spritz cookies, pb cookies and much much more. You gotta checkout the webiste!!! I'll definately be ordering from here again. read more

I don't like the idea of a bar inside a pet boutique, with people getting drunk at the store is not pleasant to shop when you are buying stuff for your pet and you are with children, owner should define what business she want, if she want a bar or a pet store. read more

Have been coming to Redbones for about 5 years. The dogs LOVE the cookies here and get a bag each time we come down. I have been told in the past the cookies are OK for human consumption and admit to trying a small taste from time to time. The few times I have, under the guise of making sure the pups get the best, they have been excellent. They also carry food, treats, clothing, and dog accessories. The best thing is they are very active in animal rescue and fundraising for the pet community! read more

AMAZING!! We moved to the area in July and had already done some research for our new go-to shop for our dog. I called to see if they carried Fromme food, and they even offered to hold it for me if I was going to come in. They will also order food if they don't have it. :) Every visit is great and there are always cool new things to look at. Their doggy goodies are bakes fresh onsite, and each and every person there is knowledgeable ans so friendly. So glad we found you, and thank you for everything! :) read more

A trip to Amelia Island is never complete until I stop by Redbones for "cookies" for my dogs! Martinique is usually in the store baking up something good, while Pinette stands ready to greet customers! My dogs have never turned down a Redbones goody! I also love that Martinique and the staff showcase animals from the humane society by bringing them to the bakery on weekends. They also host dog washes and puppy kisses, benefiting the local humane society. The crew at Redbones is busy making tasty treats, while helping the local homeless pet population. How awesome is that?! read more

She loves her Orijen dog food (they carry a wide variety of Orijen which is AMAZING!), Amelia Island themed collar (it's adorable), and all the homemade baked treats (she loves the peanut butter flavors).
