Dairyland Cheeseburger
Michele V.

My friends won a quarter keg (15 pitchers) of beer at a Packed game and we held Friendsgiving here. Great service, had the entire back room - they had Dairyland for food service. Burger was so tasty!

I've never been here but wanted to check it out because Dairyland recently moved into the kitchen space. The bar area was fun - tons of Christmas decorations, bar stools, and tables. It seemed pretty clean. There was only one bartender and she was doing her best. We didn't have to wait too long for our order to be taken. Once it was, we received it SO fast. Dairyland might taste better here than it did in the market hall. Do NOT skip out on the cheese curds. On the top 10 list in MKE. we will be back!!!

I love Dairyland! It now has a pairing with Redbar. I was stoked! They did not disappoint. This is a win/win situation. Redbar has friendly bartenders and a great atmosphere. The food came quickly and was oh so delectable. We're talking the best burgers and onion rings. I couldn't be happier with them!

We visited RedBar with Onmilwaukee's Tavern Tour. We hadn't previously been there but had a great time learning about the bars story from the owner and then also getting a little lesson on the history of pull tabs. (Have you ever wondered how they were legal. Moving here from IL I have definitely wondered about. And now I know!) The experience included a couple complimentary drinks and pizza brought in from Transfer pizza. But the Saucy Swine menu, served at RedBar (there's no table service so you need to go to the bar to order) looked too good not to try. So we sampled the cheese dip starter and will definitely be back to try many more menu items. The bar has a great vibe (be sure to check out ALL the bobbleheads) and staff was super friendly. Looking forward to going back. A friend who has been there says they are a great place to watch a Packers game.

My first time here and I would definitely return! Came with friends for a birthday celebration. Enjoyed the upper level tiki bar - opens at 6pm. Ordered a variety of BBQ and we were all happy! Lots of space to hang out. Plenty of TVs to watch sports. Our bartender was hustling since she was alone upstairs. Great neighborhood spot!

Great place, great atmosphere, great food ! Came in a Sunday and even though had lots of regulars, we felt welcome.

Cod fish fry and potato pancakes

Excellent fish fry! Tonight was our third time going to Redbar for their Friday night fish fry. They have excellent potato pancakes and Brussels sprouts as well! Bartender Ian is great! He's very friendly and makes a tasty brandy old fashion! He remembered us each time we came in. The vibe at Redbar is relaxed and friendly. I would definitely recommend stopping in for dinner and drinks!

Pulled pork, Swiss, mushroom and spinach "samich"

The Redbar is a sweet will hometown bar with great BBQ. If you are in the area... this is a place which needs to be on your list. We are from ND and visiting and friend and always request to stop for at least a drink. Tonight I had a speciality "sammich" that was pulled pork, mushrooms, Swiss, and spinach with a zesty bbq glaze. And wholly balls... drooled and eat and now so full and very satisfied.

Fantastic, friendly place. Food on Saturday is out of this world, better BBQ than The Smoke Shack!

I called ahead to make sure they had room, and we arrived around 6:30 p.m. Food: We started with a couple of beers, and I also ordered one of their specialty cocktails, the Girl in the Neon Moon. I think of it as a Miller High Life Summer Shandy, and it was very tasty. For dinner, we ordered the Street Corn, a Double Palomino Burger, and the Hot Fried Chicken Sandwich. The Street Corn was just okay. I'm used to street corn being roasted, and their version was sautéed. In my opinion, roasted or cast-iron-charred corn delivers much better flavor. The burger was excellent. They nailed the medium-rare temperature, the patties had great flavor, and everything arrived hot. The toppings added great texture, although the bun struggled to keep up with all of the delicious beef juices. The Hot Fried Chicken Sandwich was nothing short of amazing. They use chicken thighs instead of breasts, which are almost always more flavorful. The chicken was lightly battered and perfectly crispy. The pickles and mayo were a great complement. I ordered the hot sauce on the side and mixed a little into the mayo, which turned out to be the perfect choice. The fries were also very good. My wife said she'd come back just for another order of those. The portions were generous, and we ended up enjoying another meal from the leftovers the next day. Service: Several different servers took care of us throughout the evening. We were seated quickly, water and menus arrived right away, drinks followed shortly after, and all of the food came out hot. Everyone was efficient and helpful, but we never really connected with any of them. The restaurant was only about half full, so I don't think they were simply too busy. It wasn't a deal breaker, but it's always nice when the service includes just a little conversation along with taking care of the essentials. Atmosphere: It's a neighborhood corner bar serving surprisingly good food. The bar itself is attractive, with oversized, comfortable bar stools. The dining area is simple but comfortable, with plenty of space between the tables, and the noise level made it easy to carry on a conversation. We're really glad we stopped in and would happily come back. Next time, I'd skip the Street Corn and order the Brussels sprouts instead, but I'd keep everything else exactly the same.

A comfy booth on one side, chairs across in the back of the place was just right. Staff were quick to take our order, friendly and helpful. We had a delicious falafel sandwich, burger, Brussels and loaded fries. All were good. The fries were crispy and salty - perfect! The falafel sub was 3 falafel and crispy creamy coleslaw. If some additional veg or herb sauce added I think this would be welcome. Place is clean and comfortable. Staff checked in frequently and refilled our soda and water. I enjoyed a nice sour beer, since these are my favorite I would love to see more on the menu. Overall a good place to eat on a Friday night.

My friend ordered My Darling Amadeus, which I wasn't sure I would like, and I ended up loving it! It was so good. Our waitress, Michelle, was very friendly and knowledgeable, and our food was outstanding! The duck was decadent and cooked perfectly. The Barramundi Fillet was amazing! I loved the crispy top, English peas, and Green Goddess Puree. If we had room, we would've ordered dessert, but we were so full! 10/10 experience!! Can't wait to go back.

The restaurant does get a bit crowded on the weekends so plan ahead. They do have a large bar to sit at. The service is excellent. The only thing I haven't found to be to my liking are their main dishes. The flavors aren't a hit for me but I can tell they are well thought out. I simply skip out on the main dishes and go straight for the fried oyster mushrooms as an app, and then pair those with a delicious cocktail. The have a wide variety of adult beverages available.
