Beachside Inn was the only reasonably priced lodging in the area that could accommodate our two large dogs, and the front desk staff was very understanding and welcoming. Our room was immaculately clean and incredibly easy to check into. The room was also extremely spacious and had ample room for all four of us. There was even a freshly baked loaf of blueberry bread on the desk, which was such a sweet touch! We stayed for four days and not once did we experience a single disruption - the inn was quiet and peaceful. The beach is just a two minute walk across the street. The inn is tucked away in a walkable neighborhood with beautiful homes - we enjoyed walking around the area with our dogs. Camille's cafe and restaurant is right next door - we got breakfast there two of our four mornings, and it was absolutely delicious! They have fresh smoothies, breakfast sandwiches, etc. Check out was a breeze - all we had to do was lock the room and enter a check-out code on the keypad. From the moment I arrived, everyone was kind, and welcoming to both me and my service dog. They treated us with genuine warmth during a stressful time. The hotel is beautiful yet family friendly. My suite was spotless, spacious, and had plenty of room to both work comfortably and have visitors. The kitchen was well stocked, and the refrigerator was much larger than I expected. But the best part is there's no carpet in the rooms! One of my favorite features was the outdoor area overlooking the water. The pool has a gorgeous waterfront view, and there are plenty of comfortable places to sit, relax, or work. The location is excellent. There's a dog park that's just a short walk away, and there are plenty of restaurants, nightlife, and things to do within walking distance. The complimentary breakfast offers a lot of variety, but my favorite was the oatmeal bar. I especially appreciated that coffee, tea, and hot water were available around the clock. Everything about this property exceeded my expectations, but what truly sets it apart is the people. Their kindness during a very challenging time meant more than they know. Five out of five stars. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Fort Walton Beach area.

This site intentionally overlooks and will pretend they "can't find" a confirmed reservation even when presented with the confirmation number and email, which I did when this happened to me. Front desk staff is unhelpful and and untrained, while a manager is unavailable after 5PM, so good luck when an issue occurs. In this instance the front desk employee basically told me it was not their problem and then left the front desk when I pressed for assistance. Only after escalation through my corporate travel agency were the staff willing to "walk" me to another property which was 4 miles away and of lower tier/quality. No apology, no explanation. The management of this site does not value their business travel guests and will drop your booking at a negotiated corporate rate and overbook to higher rate paying customers when opportunity presents itself. Avoid this property. I will not be booking at this site again.

Disappointing Stay -- Not What We Expected From a Hilton Tapestry Property…read more We booked Beal House for our first family beach vacation, expecting a certain level of quality and comfort given its affiliation with Hilton's Tapestry Collection. Unfortunately, the property fell significantly short of our expectations. From the moment we entered the lobby, we were concerned. Portable air-conditioning units were positioned throughout the space, and the property had an unfinished appearance, almost as though renovations were still underway. Our room was equally disappointing. It appeared outdated and worn, with dirty floors, fingerprint-smudged door handles, and furniture and fixtures showing visible rust, stains, and deterioration. The overall condition left us questioning the cleanliness of the room. My wife and I did not feel comfortable sleeping there, much less having our toddler sleep there. The property gave us the impression of an older hotel that had been rebranded without receiving the extensive renovations and upgrades necessary to meet the expectations associated with Hilton. While I cannot speak to its renovation history, the current condition simply did not reflect what we anticipated from a Tapestry Collection hotel. The one major positive is the location, which is excellent. I also want to acknowledge the staff, who were accommodating when we explained our concerns and requested to leave. We were charged for one night and refunded the remaining two nights of our reservation, which we appreciated. I was able to photograph some of the issues, but the pictures do not capture the full extent of the property's condition. Beal House has tremendous potential because of its location, but it needs substantial attention to cleanliness, maintenance, furnishings, and overall presentation. Until those improvements are made, I would have difficulty recommending it, particularly to families expecting a comfortable, well-maintained Hilton experience. A disappointing start to what should have been a relaxing family vacation.

The Rosemary Beach Inn is owned by the family that manages the restaurant downstairs, the Summer…read moreKitchen Cafe, and managed by the Rosemary Beach Cottage Rental Company. It is sort of like a hybrid between a hotel and an Airbnb. Check in occurs at their central office about two blocks away. We received a warm welcome from the staff at the desk and got parking passes, keys to the room and codes to all the closed access areas such as the pool and beach. We also received a card that supposedly would get us discounts around town. We drove over to the property and were able to park in one of the two reserved spots right outside the main door. We went up to our room on the third floor via elevator. The rooms are small and felt more like a European hotel room than an American one. The bedroom portion is updated but the bathroom was a little tired. Everything was pretty comfortable for such a small space and we appreciated the ceiling fan. There was a Keurig as well with some of the best k-cups I've ever had (Illy Dark Roast). On the first of two nights, we had trouble sleeping due to the activity on the square outside (you are in the center of downtown Rosemary Beach, right by the Pearl) and also because the shutters were banging against the outside of the house, like another reviewer noted. We ended up having an interesting relationship with the downstairs restaurant. We received "breakfast" vouchers that got you coffee or tea, juice, four pieces of toast with jam or butter, and a very small fruit cup. I think the play was to get you in to the restaurant to order more food. We used the vouchers for cups of ice and morning coffee, though like I said the Keurig was pretty sufficient. They also generously supplied mixers for a cocktail we were making up in the room. The property is very close to the beach and to one of four pools in Rosemary - the best one, in our opinion, having tried all four. One small issue was beach chairs. At check in, they claimed we would have two chairs per room, set up with our room number on them. When we went down to the beach there were no such chairs, but the staff quickly set some up for us after asking. It worked out just fine, but know that the beach can get pretty packed. Overall, if it's just you and one other, this is an inexpensive way to stay in Rosemary Beach and gain access to all the amenities. Our room was half the price of the Pearl next door and less expensive than any house or cottage would have been.

We enjoyed our time at…read moreCamp Creek Inn, and did our best to use the facilities both onsite and the nearby beach and facilities available to Camp Creek Inn patrons through the access provided to the private WaterSound Beach Club. As a facility, we were very pleased with the staff and their services as well as the facilities themselves. I was not as pleased with the policies associated with the I Prefer hotel rewards program though I recognize that this is not necessarily a Camp Creek Inn concern. From the check-in experience and the concierge, everyone did their best to anticipate our needs. We were offered some waters and/or champagne when arriving and invited to sit down when we were checking in (instead of standing in a line at a desk). We quickly found my wife's colleagues at the bar nearby in the Clubhouse. The rooms were delightful with great views (ours included a deer feeding area). There were nearby "Treat Suites" on each floor with ice cream treats, bagged chips and cookies, and coffees, hot chocolate, and more. The beds were very comfortable, and the rooms were spacious. There was a happy hour right outside the 1936 bar for my wife's company followed by a dinner meeting in a private room and then s'mores at the fire pits outside 1936. Some of my wife's colleagues continued conversing at 1936 afterwards. The next morning while my wife was in her meeting in the private room, I met a friend for breakfast at 1936 and then I visited the wellness center. When my wife's meeting was over, there was going to be a pickleball tournament, which was cancelled due to the weather. Some of my wife's colleagues enjoyed some golf then when the weather improved. We continued to use the pool, wellness center, and 1936 for the bar and breakfast options for the near few days. We also visited the Bark 'N Brine while at the pool for some casual dining and happy hour deals. The 1936 bar staff were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to be helpful. They were familiar with the obscure cocktail requests that my friend made without referencing a recipe book. Special thanks to Dulce and Benjamin at the bar! Also, as a guest of the Camp Creek Inn, we were provided exclusive access to the private WaterSound Beach Club amenities with complimentary shuttles (daily 8 AM to 9 PM). The beach is private and not open to the general public though we had access because of the WaterSound Club. The Beach Club offers two 7,000 square foot pools, a spacious pool deck, and over a mile of private beach with complimentary chair and umbrella setups along with paddle board and kayak rentals. There are also several dining venues there, too. To be a part of the WaterSound Club as a member, there is a hefty initiation fee with monthly dues though staying at a hotel like the Camp Creek Inn allows us access as if we are a member without being an actual member. We enjoyed drinks and snacks at the Beach Break while visiting the Beach Club and its beach. While the stay was great, there was a lot of frustration in working with the reservation in advance. I hold Titanium status with the I Prefer Hotel Reward program, and while hotel benefits would still apply with many other chains if staying at a hotel as a part of a group, the I Prefer program said they aren't involved in a reservation if it is a group reservation. They also said it is up to the hotel itself to make a decision. The hotel, on the other hand, said that they needed to check with the I Prefer Hotel Reward program and their reservation team, but while they informed me they were "still checking" the day of check-in, they never did get back to me. I'm disappointed of how disconnected this hotel chain and reward program is. Regardless of this experience, we did enjoy our visit and would recommend this resort for a unique and special experience!

They were responsive and professional and took very good care of us. My room was a small suite that had a kitchen and very comfortable bed. They have a small laundry room, only 2 washers and dryers and since this is a hotel that a lot of military people use, they should have a few more in my opinion. They do allow pets, but housekeeping ignores the pet sign and still tries to come in with the sign on the door. I had to call the front desk about that. Breakfast is included. They have a bar with happy hour as well.
