Red Zebra has recently moved from its shop in the Westfield Centre to a new location on Queen Street, in Derby's Cathedral Quarter. It seems to fit in much better in the new premises, in an area that includes slightly more up-market and specialist shops. Red Zebra have a large range of fine ales, wines and spirits, and offer more than your regular off-licence. The owner is very knowledgeable, and will give advice on which wine to choose for a particular occasion, or to suit someone else's tastes. They have just started offering tasting evenings, with a different selection of wines or other drinks at each evening, a great opportunity to taste something you may not have tried before. read more

Off licence that has recently moved from Westfield to the cathedral area. Wide selection of wines, with some ports, sherries and spirits. Staff are very knowledgable and happy to help you make a selection for that special occasion. Has recently started to open a few nights a week as a wine bar. Really nice atmosphere, although quite expensive. read more
