They are good with id checking and make sure you are over 18. They sell wines and spirits. They sell alot of cans they have them stacked up by the window and they have huge posters on the window advertising what their offers are. They seem to have offers each week and they have a pile of flyers with there offers on next to the till. They only sell alcohol nothing else but that is really good as that is what they are well known for. If they added snacks would make me rate it alot more for convenience. Recommended to look before buying alcohol.

The friendly staff recommended several cans and a keg beer to me (American style PAs and a Porter), and they were all excellent. Prices are moderate, and you can buy a keg or handpumped ale in 1/3, 1/2, 3/4 or full pint. There aren't very many craft beer bars in this town - this seems to be the best of them. It's just a short walk e.g. from the Potteries Museum and Art Gallery, Stoke's only real tourist attraction. Highly recommended!

EIGHTY PENCE FOR SIX. And they;re suitable for freezing. Upon discovering this yesterday I bought five packs. The lady behind the counter didn't even judge me. Staff aren't exactly the friendliest in this branch, and can sometime come across as a little patronising if you ask for help with the wines, even something as simple as getting a bottle down from a high shelf. However, on a good point, the stock levels are always high and the offers change regularly so you have a good chance of finding something on a good offer a few times a year. overall, a bit expenisve, but worth it for special occasions. They will also gift wrap wine bottles, and sell bottle bags.
