Great red wing store. The customer service is awesome. A young gentleman helped me with my purchase. He was very attentive and answered all my questions. First he measured my foot to pick the right size and let me know what sizes I should try on. They also have a work boot truck that comes to my work and they deliver the same great service. They just have more choices in store. I live in Bloomfield so this was a far drive for me , but worth the trip. Much better service than the other Red Wing stores in my experience. read more

I needed boots for work and they needed to meet very strict requirements. Yesterday I went to Red Wing & found a pair that seemed good but had a seam that rubbed against my leg. I found a different pair that were comfortable but I didn't notice that the heel wasn't the perfect angle my company required until after I got home. I took them back today & found another pair that had the right angle but when I got home I realized the heels were too tall for my company's specifications. I went back again, this time with my specifications document and a tape measure. Jeff found me a pair that met all my requirements and was very helpful & friendly throughout all my visits. All the problems were my fault for not paying attention to what I needed but Jeff was a huge help and made the returns quick and easy. Some stores do whatever they can to avoid a return and make it so difficult that you never want to go back. If I had worn any of them and degraded the boots then I'd totally understand not taking a return but since that wasn't the case, I SO appreciate that they were helpful & reasonable. If I need more boots or other items they carry, I'll certainly go back in a flash. read more

I recently visited the location on Rt. 22 in Union next to the LA fitness and the staff was extremely quiet no greetings, or questions. I finally asked one about sales and one employee perked up and said "nothing right now". I said ok walked out and placed an order on Zappos.com in my car for some doc marten Grader extra wide internal metguard work boots on sale for 100$. I wanted to get some good boots at redwing and was willing to spend some money but I'm looking for a bargain. I can't imagine many sales going through those doors with those salesman. read more

Red Wing Shoes earned my business for life. This store is my goto spot for the best quality boots on the market. August 25 2016 I got into a near fatal motorcycle wreck. I broke every bone on my lower left side, except my ankle/foot. I was wearing my 8" Irish Setters that night and I believe they saved my ankle. My wife had bought me those boots for Father's Day, and the night of my accident the medivac EMT's had to cut them off. I shared my story with Red Wing corporate, thanking them for providing me with a great product. They overnight shipped me a brand new pair of matching Irish Setters and even the tough toe I had applied on my last pair. This all came just in time for Christmas.
