Sent my shoes on to be "re-soled" and when I got them back, they cracked and were trash within 4 months. Store clerk told me they are unable to be repaired again. They lasted 3 years from new then I send them in for repair and get 4 more months out of them? What the heck. I'm Highly dissatisfied. Why would you even offer a repair service? Red Wing boots have been standard for workers and tradesman for years. Their product is still one of the better options for manufacturers, but their quality in my personal opinion has gone down hill. I have been borderline considering going back to red wing and recently made a purchase from this store. When doing so, I learned that there has been a recent transfer of ownership. The new ownership has hired from what I can tell 2 young male adults that look like they haven't lifted a finger, swung a hammer or woke up for a 7 am shift to work in trades or a factory a day in their life. They look and act like they live in their mom's basement claiming to know what a work boot should feel and fit like and not to mention open for argument with a customer that is completely out of acceptable when working in retail within reason. Red Wing boots offers 30 day no questions asked, full satisfaction guarantee. One of these two kids rolled out of their mom's basement, proceeded to tell me that if I attempt to return their boot that he will personally not accept the return. His reasoning, I purchased a size that I felt to fit my foot as I liked it to. After wearing the boot around the house for a few days, decided it wasn't the style or fit that I was hoping for. This young man decided to pick an argument and stand his ground, while 100% going against what Red Wing boots stands for, the working class. He also chose to use profanity directed towards me and with multiple paying customers in the store as well. The conversation went back and forth for a minute or two and eventually I had asked for manager / the owners number to clarify the boot return policy that red wing offers. I was then informed that, "I am the manager". I then replied with, can I please then have the contact information for the owner to discuss red wings return policy. He was not obliged to provide me with any form of contact information for the owner. So here I am, writing this review in hopes to pass on that this store with new ownership is being ran by two children choosing to go against red wing policy as well as act unprofessional. I highly recommended steering clear if you happen to go to this store and run into two young men. You may not know what mood they're in and will take their problems out on the paying customer. Just to add to the story, I had a good feeling this young man was not correct on steering me away from making a purchase that I may not like, while fully taking advantage of why people buy red wing (their return policy), I had then called another red wing that was in the general area, filled them in in the concerns and issues. They reiterated that that young man was incorrect and that if they were not willing to take the boot back, that their store would gladly take the boot back if I chose to return them. I hope this story gets to a paying customer considering this store and avoid it at all cost. I also hope that the owner gets this and is able to have a conversation with his 2 employees and hopefully they'll be honest and pass my information on so we can have a conversation over the phone or face to face. Keep these young kids out of stores selling boots made for a worker attempting to act like they know what it's like to work a day in their life. read more

I took in my under warranty boots for a rip repair and when they could not fix the rip the boots were thrown out. they left me with no boots and no reimbursement of any kind while i was out $200 on shoes. this business is crooked and i do not recommend shopping here if you're looking for good customer service or quality material read more

I went there for work boots. Was measured and told I wear an 8. I haven't worn an 8 since high school and I am now 61.Told them I wear a 10-10 1/2. Was brought an 8. Couldn't get foot in boot. Was brought a 7 1/2???? Why Smaller. Told them to bring me a 10. But machine says 8. Finally brought a 10 and they fit. Won't be going back there can not recommend read more
