I've tried on numerous shoes here and I've yet to ever find one single pair that I would even remotely consider purchasing. It kinda reminds me of a more upscale Payless and I don't do Payless. What really turned me off of this place was one of the sales guys. If not for him and the incident with him that happened, I would have at least given this place 3 stars. I was in here one night with my married daughter (yes, she had her wedding rings on), and she was trying on boots. I think we were the only customers in the store at the time. This sales guy comes up and starts flirting with her. She smiled at him and acknowledged him because she didn't want to be rude, but she did hold up her hand to show him her rings and she politely told him she was married. He continued to hit on her which made her horribly uncomfortable. He then turned to me and said, and I quote, "Your daughter is smoking hot." Ummmmmm. Hmmmmm. WTF was I suppose to say to that?! Yes, I was actually momentarily speechless. How much more inappropriate can you possibly get? I finally got my words back and told him she was married and informed him that his comment was completely inappropriate. What did he have to say? I'll tell you. He said, "Well, it's true." My daughter couldn't get those boots off fast enough and then we were out of there! I wish now I would have had the good sense to call the next day and speak with a manager about the incident. But I didn't. And now it's been too long ago and I don't remember the guy's name.

They have a pretty decent selection here and when shopping with my twenty-something daughters, they can always find something they want for momma to buy them. If you're looking for designer brands like Coach and Michael Kors, you may or may not be able to find much here because the selection is not as large. Sometimes they have it and sometimes they don't. I do like the fact that if you find a shoe you just can't do without and they don't have it in your size, then you can purchase the shoe and they will have it shipped to you for free. Also, if you shop at DSW a lot like I do, then make sure to sign up for their rewards program. Make sure to check the clearance racks too. I went in looking for more of a custom fit from a experienced salesperson, what I got was the first available person who appeared to know nothing about attempting to custom fit and was merely a shoe clerk. A virtual Al Bundy! I was desperate and bought more hokas but they aren't the same. And the price was anything but reasonable. I will not ever go back in Fleet Feet, might as well go to Academy, considering the level of service.
